Odbojkaški klub Ribola Kaštela još se jednom našla na popisu nominiranih momčadi za Sportsko ime Dalmacije. A kako i ne bi, kad su Kaštelani još jednu godinu zaredom na samom vrhu hrvatske odbojke.

Sedma titula naslova prvaka države u deset godina velik je uspjeh kojeg rijetko pamti neki dalmatinski klub. No, zato će ostati zapamćen način na kojeg su ga osvojili – za ‘zelenim stolom’ nakon samo dvije odigrane utakmice.

Naime, bila je to prva godina otkako su dva najbolja hrvatska kluba bila ‘pošteđena’ prvog dijela domaćeg prvenstva, kojeg su oni iskoristili za nastupe u europskim Challenge kupovima i MEVZA-i. Početkom trećeg mjeseca priključili su se drugom dijelu natjecanja i nakon dva kola bilježili maksimalnih 6 bodova. Jednaki broj bodova i set razliku imala je zagrebačka Mladost, ali je na kraju presudila razlika u poenima: Kaštelani su bili na +50, a Zagrepčani na +34.

Pošteno ili nepošteno, sportski ili nesportski – o tome su se već vodile rasprave, pa se nećemo vraćati na tu priču. Kako god to netko tumačio, Ribola na svom kontu ima upisan sedmi naslov prvaka države. Taman po jedan naslov za svako kaštelansko misto!
 
Međutim, da i nije bilo prekida uzrokovanim pandemijom koronavirusa sigurni smo da bi Kaštelani i igrom vratili pehar kojeg su dvije uzastopne godine u svojoj vitrini držali Zagrepčani. Bez imalo pretjerivanja, trener Ivan Rančić imao je vjerojatno najbolju momčad u cijelom proteklom desetljeću. Iako su bili samo jednu godinu na okupu, uspjeli su nanizati nekoliko značajnih rezultata i namučiti svaku momčad koja ih je i uspjela pobijediti.
 
Potencijal kojeg su imali bio je velik, usudili bi se reći čak i europski. Reputacija momčadi bila je još prepoznatljivija kad je klub obznanio da je za njih potpisao Francesco De Marchi, bivši talijanski reprezentativac. Da usporedimo, uspjeti doći do talijanske reprezentacije jednako je naći se na popisu veznjaka za španjolsku reprezentaciju u periodu između 2010. i 2014. godine.
Njihov uspjeh mogli bismo opisati i ovako: nakon dugo vremena Ribola Kaštela ubilježila su čak sedam europskih pobjeda. Od toga je šest bilo u MEVZA ligi (tri u nizu), a jednu u Challenge kupu kada su izbacili estonski Parnu. Vrhunac je bio nastup protiv talijanskog giganta Milana, čiji su igrači nakon oba susreta pljeskali otporu Kaštelana.
 
Ribola Kaštela uspjela je nakon dvije godine ‘suše’ s trofejima napokon konkurirati zagrebačkoj Mladosti. Već na otvaranju sezone pobijedili su ih s 3:2 usred Zagreba, ali i istim rezultatom od njih izgubili u Kaštelima. Međutim, tu utakmicu Ribola je imala 2:0 u setovima i meč loptu koju su, nes(p)retno, propustili.
 
Pandemija je, nažalost, poremetila ambicije kluba i financijsku situaciju, pa je čak šestoro važnih igrača otišlo iz kluba. Među njima su bili Matoković, Zeljković, Solbrig i Medan kao neizostavni članovi prve šestorke. Trener Rančić bio je primoran graditi novu momčad, pa se uz preostale iskusne prvotimce oslonio na mlade snage.
 
Trebalo je to na početku uigrati, a i teško je prenijeti sve taktičke ideje u malo vremena. Do kraja jesenskog dijela prvenstva momčad je nanizala nekoliko pobjeda, stigli su do polufinala domaćeg Kupa a u prvenstvu trenutačno zauzimaju treću poziciju. Neka nova imena stvaraju svoj put prema novim povijesnim uspjesima najtrofejnijeg kaštelanskog kluba.

Odbojkaški klub Ribola Kaštela još se jednom našla na popisu nominiranih momčadi za Sportsko ime Dalmacije. A kako i ne bi, kad su Kaštelani još jednu godinu zaredom na samom vrhu hrvatske odbojke.

Sedma titula naslova prvaka države u deset godina velik je uspjeh kojeg rijetko pamti neki dalmatinski klub. No, zato će ostati zapamćen način na kojeg su ga osvojili – za ‘zelenim stolom’ nakon samo dvije odigrane utakmice.

Naime, bila je to prva godina otkako su dva najbolja hrvatska kluba bila ‘pošteđena’ prvog dijela domaćeg prvenstva, kojeg su oni iskoristili za nastupe u europskim Challenge kupovima i MEVZA-i. Početkom trećeg mjeseca priključili su se drugom dijelu natjecanja i nakon dva kola bilježili maksimalnih 6 bodova. Jednaki broj bodova i set razliku imala je zagrebačka Mladost, ali je na kraju presudila razlika u poenima: Kaštelani su bili na +50, a Zagrepčani na +34.

Pošteno ili nepošteno, sportski ili nesportski – o tome su se već vodile rasprave, pa se nećemo vraćati na tu priču. Kako god to netko tumačio, Ribola na svom kontu ima upisan sedmi naslov prvaka države. Taman po jedan naslov za svako kaštelansko misto!
 
Međutim, da i nije bilo prekida uzrokovanim pandemijom koronavirusa sigurni smo da bi Kaštelani i igrom vratili pehar kojeg su dvije uzastopne godine u svojoj vitrini držali Zagrepčani. Bez imalo pretjerivanja, trener Ivan Rančić imao je vjerojatno najbolju momčad u cijelom proteklom desetljeću. Iako su bili samo jednu godinu na okupu, uspjeli su nanizati nekoliko značajnih rezultata i namučiti svaku momčad koja ih je i uspjela pobijediti.
 
Potencijal kojeg su imali bio je velik, usudili bi se reći čak i europski. Reputacija momčadi bila je još prepoznatljivija kad je klub obznanio da je za njih potpisao Francesco De Marchi, bivši talijanski reprezentativac. Da usporedimo, uspjeti doći do talijanske reprezentacije jednako je naći se na popisu veznjaka za španjolsku reprezentaciju u periodu između 2010. i 2014. godine.
Njihov uspjeh mogli bismo opisati i ovako: nakon dugo vremena Ribola Kaštela ubilježila su čak sedam europskih pobjeda. Od toga je šest bilo u MEVZA ligi (tri u nizu), a jednu u Challenge kupu kada su izbacili estonski Parnu. Vrhunac je bio nastup protiv talijanskog giganta Milana, čiji su igrači nakon oba susreta pljeskali otporu Kaštelana.
 
Ribola Kaštela uspjela je nakon dvije godine ‘suše’ s trofejima napokon konkurirati zagrebačkoj Mladosti. Već na otvaranju sezone pobijedili su ih s 3:2 usred Zagreba, ali i istim rezultatom od njih izgubili u Kaštelima. Međutim, tu utakmicu Ribola je imala 2:0 u setovima i meč loptu koju su, nes(p)retno, propustili.
 
Pandemija je, nažalost, poremetila ambicije kluba i financijsku situaciju, pa je čak šestoro važnih igrača otišlo iz kluba. Među njima su bili Matoković, Zeljković, Solbrig i Medan kao neizostavni članovi prve šestorke. Trener Rančić bio je primoran graditi novu momčad, pa se uz preostale iskusne prvotimce oslonio na mlade snage.
 
Trebalo je to na početku uigrati, a i teško je prenijeti sve taktičke ideje u malo vremena. Do kraja jesenskog dijela prvenstva momčad je nanizala nekoliko pobjeda, stigli su do polufinala domaćeg Kupa a u prvenstvu trenutačno zauzimaju treću poziciju. Neka nova imena stvaraju svoj put prema novim povijesnim uspjesima najtrofejnijeg kaštelanskog kluba.

Ponovno na popisu nominiranih momčadi za Sportsko ime Dalmacije: Kaštelani su došli do sedme titule prvaka Hrvatske i ostavili veliki trag u Europi

Odbojkaški klub Ribola Kaštela još se jednom našla na popisu nominiranih momčadi za Sportsko ime Dalmacije. A kako i ne bi, kad su Kaštelani još jednu godinu zaredom na samom vrhu hrvatske odbojke.

Sedma titula naslova prvaka države u deset godina velik je uspjeh kojeg rijetko pamti neki dalmatinski klub. No, zato će ostati zapamćen način na kojeg su ga osvojili – za ‘zelenim stolom’ nakon samo dvije odigrane utakmice.

Naime, bila je to prva godina otkako su dva najbolja hrvatska kluba bila ‘pošteđena’ prvog dijela domaćeg prvenstva, kojeg su oni iskoristili za nastupe u europskim Challenge kupovima i MEVZA-i. Početkom trećeg mjeseca priključili su se drugom dijelu natjecanja i nakon dva kola bilježili maksimalnih 6 bodova. Jednaki broj bodova i set razliku imala je zagre...
