Najveća nada hrvatskog jedrenja, 17-godišnja Petra Marendić iz Jedriličarskog kluba Mornar osvojila je brončanu medalju u klasi ILCA 6 na Europskom prvenstvu mladih (do 19 godina) u poljskoj Gdyniji. To je njena već peta medalja u mlađim uzrastima, jer je bila europska prvakinja 2020. godine (U16, klasa 4.7), srebrna na Svjetskom prvenstvu 2021. godine (U18, ILCA 4), pa dvaput brončana prošle godine – na Svjetskom prvenstvu (U18, ILCA 4) i na Europskom prvenstvu (U19, ILCA 6). 

Posljednjeg dana u Gdyniji nije bilo jedrenja zbog kiše i nedostatka vjetra, pa Petra nije dobila priliku izboriti se za srebro. Ona i Nizozemka Roos Wind su imale po 33 boda, ali je Wind zbog jednog prvog mjesta više (3) pripalo 2. mjesto. Europska prvakinja je postala Talijanka Emma Mattivi sa 17 bodova. Vrlo dobar rezultat ostvarila je i Tea Peteh (JK Uljanik) na 5. mjestu sa 67 bodova. U muškoj konkurenciji Lovre Bakotić (JK Split) se plasirao na 7. mjesto. 

- Super je osjećaj osvojiti medalju, iako sam možda mogla i malo bolje – javila nam se Petra iz Gdynije, gdje je uz nju bio trener Dominik Perković. 

To „malo bolje“ odnosi se na dvije regate u finalnoj skupini, jednom je diskvalificirana, a drugi put je završila na 12. mjestu. To su i jedini plasmani izvan Top 10 u devet regata. 

- Ta diskvalifikacija znači da nisam niti jedrila u toj regati, kažnjena sam zbog pogreške dan ranije, izlijetanja na startu. U regati u kojoj sam završila dvanaesta izgubila sam brzinu i morala sam se probijati, više od toga se nije moglo. 

Za Petru neće biti previše odmora do nove prilike za dokazivanje, jer će od 5. kolovoza sudjelovati na Europskom prvenstvu do 21 godine u Norveškoj. 

- Nikada nisam bila u Norveškoj, pa ne znam što očekivati od uvjeta, ali kažu mi oni koji znaju da je dosta slično ovome u Poljskoj. Što se tiče konkurencije, bit će to dosta slično. Više ću znati za dva tjedna – nasmijala se Petra za kraj.

Najveća nada hrvatskog jedrenja, 17-godišnja Petra Marendić iz Jedriličarskog kluba Mornar osvojila je brončanu medalju u klasi ILCA 6 na Europskom prvenstvu mladih (do 19 godina) u poljskoj Gdyniji. To je njena već peta medalja u mlađim uzrastima, jer je bila europska prvakinja 2020. godine (U16, klasa 4.7), srebrna na Svjetskom prvenstvu 2021. godine (U18, ILCA 4), pa dvaput brončana prošle godine – na Svjetskom prvenstvu (U18, ILCA 4) i na Europskom prvenstvu (U19, ILCA 6). 

Posljednjeg dana u Gdyniji nije bilo jedrenja zbog kiše i nedostatka vjetra, pa Petra nije dobila priliku izboriti se za srebro. Ona i Nizozemka Roos Wind su imale po 33 boda, ali je Wind zbog jednog prvog mjesta više (3) pripalo 2. mjesto. Europska prvakinja je postala Talijanka Emma Mattivi sa 17 bodova. Vrlo dobar rezultat ostvarila je i Tea Peteh (JK Uljanik) na 5. mjestu sa 67 bodova. U muškoj konkurenciji Lovre Bakotić (JK Split) se plasirao na 7. mjesto. 

- Super je osjećaj osvojiti medalju, iako sam možda mogla i malo bolje – javila nam se Petra iz Gdynije, gdje je uz nju bio trener Dominik Perković. 

To „malo bolje“ odnosi se na dvije regate u finalnoj skupini, jednom je diskvalificirana, a drugi put je završila na 12. mjestu. To su i jedini plasmani izvan Top 10 u devet regata. 

- Ta diskvalifikacija znači da nisam niti jedrila u toj regati, kažnjena sam zbog pogreške dan ranije, izlijetanja na startu. U regati u kojoj sam završila dvanaesta izgubila sam brzinu i morala sam se probijati, više od toga se nije moglo. 

Za Petru neće biti previše odmora do nove prilike za dokazivanje, jer će od 5. kolovoza sudjelovati na Europskom prvenstvu do 21 godine u Norveškoj. 

- Nikada nisam bila u Norveškoj, pa ne znam što očekivati od uvjeta, ali kažu mi oni koji znaju da je dosta slično ovome u Poljskoj. Što se tiče konkurencije, bit će to dosta slično. Više ću znati za dva tjedna – nasmijala se Petra za kraj.

Mornarevka Petra Marendić brončana na Europskom prvenstvu mladih u klasi ILCA 6 u Poljskoj

Najveća nada hrvatskog jedrenja, 17-godišnja Petra Marendić iz Jedriličarskog kluba Mornar osvojila je brončanu medalju u klasi ILCA 6 na Europskom prvenstvu mladih (do 19 godina) u poljskoj Gdyniji. To je njena već peta medalja u mlađim uzrastima, jer je bila europska prvakinja 2020. godine (U16, klasa 4.7), srebrna na Svjetskom prvenstvu 2021. godine (U18, ILCA 4), pa dvaput brončana prošle godine – na Svjetskom prvenstvu (U18, ILCA 4) i na Europskom prvenstvu (U19, ILCA 6). 

Posljednjeg dana u Gdyniji nije bilo jedrenja zbog kiše i nedostatka vjetra, pa Petra nije dobila priliku izboriti se za srebro. Ona i Nizozemka Roos Wind su imale po 33 boda, ali je Wind zbog jednog prvog mjesta više (3) pripalo 2. mjesto. Europska prvakinja je postala Talijanka Emma Mattivi sa 17 bodova. Vrlo dobar rezultat ostvarila je i Tea Peteh (JK Uljanik) na 5. mjestu sa 67 bodova. U muškoj konkurenciji Lovre Bakotić (JK Split) se plasirao na 7. mjesto. 

- Super je osjećaj osvojiti medalju, iako sam možda mogla i malo bolje – javila nam se Petra iz Gdynije, gdje je uz nju bio trener Dominik Perković. 

To „malo bolje“ odnosi se na dvije regate u finalnoj skupini, jednom je diskvalificirana, a drugi put je završila na 12. mjestu. To su i jedini plasmani izvan Top 10 u devet regata. 

- Ta diskvalifikacija znači da nisam niti jedrila u toj regati, kažnjena sam zbog pogreške dan ranije, izlijetanja na startu. U regati u kojoj sam završila dvanaesta izgubila sam brzinu i morala sam se probijati, više od toga se nije moglo. 

Za Petru neće biti previše odmora do nove prilike za dokazivanje, jer će od 5. kolovoza sudjelovati na Europskom prvenstvu do 21 godine u Norveškoj. 

- Nikada nisam bila u Norveškoj, pa ne znam što očekivati od uvjeta, ali kažu mi oni koji znaju da je dosta slično ovome u Poljskoj. Što se tiče konkurencije, bit će to dosta slično. Više ću znati za dva tjedna – nasmijala se Petra za kraj.
