Iz zadarskog područja krenuli smo u ribolov prema Visu i kod Komiže ulovili nama nepoznatu ribu koja liči na nekakvu tropsku vrstu, pa bih molio odgovor o kojoj vrsti se radi?

Kako te ribe uglavnom nema sjevernije, uključujući i zadarsko područje, nije čudno da vam je nepoznata, jer najviše obitava u području južnog Jadrana, pa sve do centralnog srednjeg Jadrana. Riječ je o ribi hrvatskog naziva papigača, dok joj je lat. naziv Sparisoma cretense. Hrvatski naziv vjerojatno potječe od stranih naziva koji je zovu uglavnom istim imenom, tj. engleski se zove parrotfish, talijanski pesce pappagallo, njemački papageifisch itd., a naziv je dobila prema obliku usta koja podsjećaju na usta papige.

Jedini je predstavnik koštunjavih riba iz obitelji papigača u Jadranu. Obojenost je različita među spolovima, pa su tako mužjaci sivosmeđi ili purpurnosmeđi, po trbuhu svjetliji, sa sitnijim svjetlim točkama po leđima i boku, dok je primjerak na fotografiji očito ženka, jer su one karakteristično crvenkaste, s velikom tamnosmeđom mrljom na stražnjem dijelu glave i početku boka, žuto obrubljenog, te sa žutom mrljom na gornjem dijelu repnog drška. Papigače narastu do 50 cm dužine, a žive u cijelom istočnom Atlantiku, uključujući Sredozemlje, i to uglavnom blizu grebena i kamenitog područja, od plićaka do 50 m dubine.

Uglavnom je biljožder koji se hrani najviše algama, a rijetko i malim beskralježnjacima.

Iz zadarskog područja krenuli smo u ribolov prema Visu i kod Komiže ulovili nama nepoznatu ribu koja liči na nekakvu tropsku vrstu, pa bih molio odgovor o kojoj vrsti se radi?

Kako te ribe uglavnom nema sjevernije, uključujući i zadarsko područje, nije čudno da vam je nepoznata, jer najviše obitava u području južnog Jadrana, pa sve do centralnog srednjeg Jadrana. Riječ je o ribi hrvatskog naziva papigača, dok joj je lat. naziv Sparisoma cretense. Hrvatski naziv vjerojatno potječe od stranih naziva koji je zovu uglavnom istim imenom, tj. engleski se zove parrotfish, talijanski pesce pappagallo, njemački papageifisch itd., a naziv je dobila prema obliku usta koja podsjećaju na usta papige.

Jedini je predstavnik koštunjavih riba iz obitelji papigača u Jadranu. Obojenost je različita među spolovima, pa su tako mužjaci sivosmeđi ili purpurnosmeđi, po trbuhu svjetliji, sa sitnijim svjetlim točkama po leđima i boku, dok je primjerak na fotografiji očito ženka, jer su one karakteristično crvenkaste, s velikom tamnosmeđom mrljom na stražnjem dijelu glave i početku boka, žuto obrubljenog, te sa žutom mrljom na gornjem dijelu repnog drška. Papigače narastu do 50 cm dužine, a žive u cijelom istočnom Atlantiku, uključujući Sredozemlje, i to uglavnom blizu grebena i kamenitog područja, od plićaka do 50 m dubine.

Uglavnom je biljožder koji se hrani najviše algama, a rijetko i malim beskralježnjacima.

Iz zadarskog područja krenuli smo u ribolov prema Visu i kod Komiže ulovili nama nepoznatu ribu koja liči na nekakvu tropsku vrstu, pa bih molio odgovor o kojoj vrsti se radi?

Kako te ribe uglavnom nema sjevernije, uključujući i zadarsko područje, nije čudno da vam je nepoznata, jer najviše obitava u području južnog Jadrana, pa sve do centralnog srednjeg Jadrana. Riječ je o ribi hrvatskog naziva papigača, dok joj je lat. naziv Sparisoma cretense. Hrvatski naziv vjerojatno potječe od stranih naziva koji je zovu uglavnom istim imenom, tj. engleski se zove parrotfish, talijanski pesce pappagallo, njemački papageifisch itd., a naziv je dobila prema obliku usta koja podsjećaju na usta papige.

Jedini je predstavnik koštunjavih riba iz obitelji papigača u Jadra...
