I dok u svijetu nije postignut konsenzus o tome da bi pravo na putovanje smjeli imati samo cijepljeni putnici, američka cruising kompanija Royal Caribbean najavila je da u svibnju u promet pušta svoj novi brod, Odyssey of the seas, prvo plovilo koje će prevoziti isključivo cijepljenu posadu te putnike starije od 16 godina, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Kako piše Travel weekly, kruzer će na put krenuti iz izraelska luke Haifa, države koja je dosad cijepila polovicu stanovništva te tako prednjači u broju cijepljenih građana, za razliku od npr. SAD-a gdje ta brojka iznosi 15 posto ili EU u kojoj je taj udio daleko manji.

Izraelski premijer Benjamin Netanyahu već se pohvalio kako će građani Izraela biti prvi koji će se ukrcati na novi Royalov brod, proglasivši Izrael primjerom globalnog uspjeha, a događaj jednim od najvažnijih turističkih događaja u povijesti Izraela.

Brod će na put krenuti iz izraelske luke Haifa pa posjetiti Rhodos, Santorini, Mykonos, Atenu te Limassol na Cipru, a prodaja karata kreće 9. travnja.

Originalno, ovaj je kruzer na svoje prvo putovanja trebao krenuti iz Rima na ljeto, no kompanija se ipak odlučila za Izrael te najavila kako će na brodu, logično, biti osigurane zdravstvene i sigurnosne mjere.

Putnici će na kruzeru moći uživati u Sea-Plexu na dva nivoa, vanjskim i unutarnjim aktivnostima, posebnom programu za djecu i mnogim drugim uslugama.

Ipak, prema izjavama predsjednika uprave kompanije Richarda Faina, kompanija zasad nije donijela odluku o tome hoće li na svojim brodovima isključivo prevoziti cijepljene putnike.

- Cijepljenje je zasigurno najbrži i najbolji način da se ova pandemija stavi pod kontrolu. Očekujemo da ćemo cijepiti sve svoje zaposlenike, a oni su općenito iskazali veliki interes za cijepljenjem. No, hoćemo li isto tražiti od svih posjetitelja svih naših brodova još nismo odlučili - rekao je Fain u video poruci odaslanoj nedugo nakon što je objavljena vijest o njihovom prvom potpuno cijepljenom brodu.

Sigurno je isključivo to da će svo osoblje na sve tri njihove linije – Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity cruises i Silverseas cruises biti cijepljeni protiv covida, a Fain je poručio da cruising industrija može očekivati eksploziju putovanja jednom kad će se steći uvjeti za normalno putovanje cruiserima.

- Usprkos svim udarcima koje je primila naša industrija, jasno je da će potražnja za ovim tipom putovanja biti ogromna jednom kad se u potpunosti otvore naša vrata. Došlo je vrijeme da se počnemo zbog toga radovati i da budemo financijski pripremljeni za taj trenutak - poručio je Fain, prenosi Jutarnji list.

I dok u svijetu nije postignut konsenzus o tome da bi pravo na putovanje smjeli imati samo cijepljeni putnici, američka cruising kompanija Royal Caribbean najavila je da u svibnju u promet pušta svoj novi brod, Odyssey of the seas, prvo plovilo koje će prevoziti isključivo cijepljenu posadu te putnike starije od 16 godina, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Kako piše Travel weekly, kruzer će na put krenuti iz izraelska luke Haifa, države koja je dosad cijepila polovicu stanovništva te tako prednjači u broju cijepljenih građana, za razliku od npr. SAD-a gdje ta brojka iznosi 15 posto ili EU u kojoj je taj udio daleko manji.

Izraelski premijer Benjamin Netanyahu već se pohvalio kako će građani Izraela biti prvi koji će se ukrcati na novi Royalov brod, proglasivši Izrael primjerom globalnog uspjeha, a događaj jednim od najvažnijih turističkih događaja u povijesti Izraela.

Brod će na put krenuti iz izraelske luke Haifa pa posjetiti Rhodos, Santorini, Mykonos, Atenu te Limassol na Cipru, a prodaja karata kreće 9. travnja.

Originalno, ovaj je kruzer na svoje prvo putovanja trebao krenuti iz Rima na ljeto, no kompanija se ipak odlučila za Izrael te najavila kako će na brodu, logično, biti osigurane zdravstvene i sigurnosne mjere.

Putnici će na kruzeru moći uživati u Sea-Plexu na dva nivoa, vanjskim i unutarnjim aktivnostima, posebnom programu za djecu i mnogim drugim uslugama.

Ipak, prema izjavama predsjednika uprave kompanije Richarda Faina, kompanija zasad nije donijela odluku o tome hoće li na svojim brodovima isključivo prevoziti cijepljene putnike.

- Cijepljenje je zasigurno najbrži i najbolji način da se ova pandemija stavi pod kontrolu. Očekujemo da ćemo cijepiti sve svoje zaposlenike, a oni su općenito iskazali veliki interes za cijepljenjem. No, hoćemo li isto tražiti od svih posjetitelja svih naših brodova još nismo odlučili - rekao je Fain u video poruci odaslanoj nedugo nakon što je objavljena vijest o njihovom prvom potpuno cijepljenom brodu.

BROD-PREKRETNICAPutovanje koje bi moglo odrediti smjer svjetskog turizma: u svibnju će zaploviti kruzer sa svim cijepljenim putnicima i posadom

I dok u svijetu nije postignut konsenzus o tome da bi pravo na putovanje smjeli imati samo cijepljeni putnici, američka cruising kompanija Royal Caribbean najavila je da u svibnju u promet pušta svoj novi brod, Odyssey of the seas, prvo plovilo koje će prevoziti isključivo cijepljenu posadu te putnike starije od 16 godina, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Kako piše Travel weekly, kruzer će na put krenuti iz izraelska luke Haifa, države koja je dosad cijepila polovicu stanovništva te tako prednjači u broju cijepljenih građana, za razliku od npr. SAD-a gdje ta brojka iznosi 15 posto ili EU u kojoj je taj udio daleko manji.

Izraelski premijer Benjamin Netanyahu već se pohvalio kako će građani Izraela biti prvi koji će se ukrcati na novi Royalov brod, proglasivši Izrael primjerom globalnog uspjeha, a događaj jednim od najvažnijih turističkih događaja u povijesti Izraela.

Brod će na put krenuti iz izraelske luke Haifa pa posjetiti Rhodos, Santorini, Mykonos, Atenu te Limassol na Cipru, a prodaja karata kreće 9. travnja.

Originalno, ovaj je kruzer na svoje prvo putovanja trebao krenuti iz Rima na ljeto, no kompanija se ipak odlučila za Izrael te najavila kako će na brodu, logično, biti osigurane zdravstvene i sigurnosne mjere.

Putnici će na kruzeru moći uživati u Sea-Plexu na dva nivoa, vanjskim i unutarnjim aktivnostima, posebnom programu za djecu i mnogim drugim uslugama.

Ipak, prema izjavama predsjednika uprave kompanije Richarda Faina, kompanija zasad nije donijela odluku o tome hoće li na svojim brodovima isključivo prevoziti cijepljene putnike.

- Cijepljenje je zasigurno najbrži i najbolji način da se ova pandemija stavi pod kontrolu. Očekujemo da ćemo cijepiti sve svoje zaposlenike, a oni su općenito iskazali veliki interes za cijepljenjem. No, hoćemo li isto tražiti od svih posjetitelja svih naših brodova još nismo odlučili - rekao je Fain u video poruci odaslanoj nedugo nakon što je objavljena vijest o njihovom prvom potpuno cijepljenom brodu.
