U Omišu je u četvrtak započeo međunarodni dvodnevni skup znanstvenika angažiranih na zaštiti plemenite periske. Domaćini iz županijske ustanove More i krš uz izlaganja partnera na projektu pripremili su i obilazak jedne od rijetkih preživjelih jedinki u Jadranu koja zahvaljujući brizi znanstvenika i učinkovitom čeličnom kavezu nastavlja život na ušću Cetine.

Podsjetimo, parazit Haplosporidium pinnae je s gotovo stopostotnom učinkovitošću od 2016. godine uništio cijelu populaciju periske u Sredozemlju. Sada kada je ostao bez domaćina za prijenos, počinju se otkrivati nove populacije periski bez traga bolesti koje ulijevaju nadu da će se naša mora ponovno ispuniti tim živopisnim školjkašem.

Velik broj mediteranskih znanstvenika uz financijsku pomoć instuticija poput Fonda za zaštitu okoliša posljednjih godina ulaže veliki napor u postavljanje i analizu kolektora ličinki, te pronalazak i očuvanje živih jedinki.

Važnu ulogu imaju i građani koji su se aktivno uključili dojavljujući lokacije navodnih primjeraka. Nažalost, većinom se radi o praznim ljušturama i vrstama školjaka koje u juvinalnoj fazi podsjećaju na plemenitu perisku.

Uz pretraživanje Jadrana angažman znanstvenika se nastavlja na genetskoj analizi i potrazi za izoliranim zonama bez tragova Haplosporidiuma gdje bi se mogle nasaditi jedinke koje se razvijaju u sigurnim uvjetima poput našega akvarija u Puli.

U Omišu je u četvrtak započeo međunarodni dvodnevni skup znanstvenika angažiranih na zaštiti plemenite periske. Domaćini iz županijske ustanove More i krš uz izlaganja partnera na projektu pripremili su i obilazak jedne od rijetkih preživjelih jedinki u Jadranu koja zahvaljujući brizi znanstvenika i učinkovitom čeličnom kavezu nastavlja život na ušću Cetine.

Podsjetimo, parazit Haplosporidium pinnae je s gotovo stopostotnom učinkovitošću od 2016. godine uništio cijelu populaciju periske u Sredozemlju. Sada kada je ostao bez domaćina za prijenos, počinju se otkrivati nove populacije periski bez traga bolesti koje ulijevaju nadu da će se naša mora ponovno ispuniti tim živopisnim školjkašem.

Velik broj mediteranskih znanstvenika uz financijsku pomoć instuticija poput Fonda za zaštitu okoliša posljednjih godina ulaže veliki napor u postavljanje i analizu kolektora ličinki, te pronalazak i očuvanje živih jedinki.

Važnu ulogu imaju i građani koji su se aktivno uključili dojavljujući lokacije navodnih primjeraka. Nažalost, većinom se radi o praznim ljušturama i vrstama školjaka koje u juvinalnoj fazi podsjećaju na plemenitu perisku.

Uz pretraživanje Jadrana angažman znanstvenika se nastavlja na genetskoj analizi i potrazi za izoliranim zonama bez tragova Haplosporidiuma gdje bi se mogle nasaditi jedinke koje se razvijaju u sigurnim uvjetima poput našega akvarija u Puli.

PINNA NOBILISTalijanski, španjolski i hrvatski znanstvenici u Omišu traže rješenje za spas plemenite periske

U Omišu je u četvrtak započeo međunarodni dvodnevni skup znanstvenika angažiranih na zaštiti plemenite periske. Domaćini iz županijske ustanove More i krš uz izlaganja partnera na projektu pripremili su i obilazak jedne od rijetkih preživjelih jedinki u Jadranu koja zahvaljujući brizi znanstvenika i učinkovitom čeličnom kavezu nastavlja život na ušću Cetine.

Podsjetimo, parazit Haplosporidium pinnae je s gotovo stopostotnom učinkovitošću od 2016. godine uništio cijelu populaciju periske u Sredozemlju. Sada kada je ostao bez domaćina za prijenos, počinju se otkrivati nove populacije periski bez traga bolesti koje ulijevaju nadu da će se naša mora ponovno ispuniti tim živopisnim školjkašem.

Velik broj mediteranskih znanstvenika uz financijsku pomoć instuticija poput Fonda za zaštitu okoliša posljednjih godina ulaže veliki napor u postavljanje i analizu kolektora ličinki, te pronalazak i očuvanje živih jedinki.

Važnu ulogu imaju i građani koji su se aktivno uključili dojavljujući lokacije navodnih primjeraka. Nažalost, većinom se radi o praznim ljušturama i vrstama školjaka koje u juvinalnoj fazi podsjećaju na plemenitu perisku.

Uz pretraživanje Jadrana angažman znanstvenika se nastavlja na genetskoj analizi i potrazi za izoliranim zonama bez tragova Haplosporidiuma gdje bi se mogle nasaditi jedinke koje se razvijaju u sigurnim uvjetima poput našega akvarija u Puli.
