Japanska luka Yokohama najefikasnija je u svijetu u pretovaru tereta i zrcali globalnu dominaciju azijskih luka, a među 10 najboljih svrstao se i španjolski Algeciras, pokazalo je istraživanje Svjetske banke i londonske tvrtke Markit.
Yokohama je zasjela na čelo globalne ljestvice 351 kontejnerske luke, po statističkim pokazateljima, a na drugom je mjestu saudijska luka King Abdullah, prema indeksu izvedbe kontejnerskih luka (CPPI) koji izrađuju Svjetska banka i Markit.
Treće i četvrto mjesto na ljestvici za 2020. godinu zauzeli su i kineski Chiwan, dio luke Shenzhen, i Guangzhou, a peto tajvanska luka Kaoshiung.
Na šestom je mjestu omanska luka Salalah, na sedmom Hong Kong, a na deseto se mjesto probio španjolski Algeciras, najbolje plasirana europska luka.
Među europskim lukama drugo je mjesto na ljestvici najefikasnijih pripalo danskom Aarhusu, treće njemačkom Bremerhavenu, dok se najprometnija europska luka Rotterdam našla na četvrtom mjestu. Na globaloj ljestvici zauzela je 116. mjesto.
Hrvatskoj najbliži talijanski Trst zauzeo je deseto mjesto na ljestvici najefikasnijih europskih luka, a na globalnoj je ljestvici završio na 212. mjestu.
Luke u Aziji, na Bliskom istoku i u sjevernoj Africi dominiraju među 50 vodećih u svijetu dok su luke u Los Angelesu i Long Beachu, koje obrađuju najveći obujam tereta u SAD-u, završile na dnu ljestvice.
Los Angeles zauzeo je 328. mjesto, iza tanzanijskog Dar es Salaama i također američkog Dutch Harbora, a susjedni Long Beach prošao je još gore, završivši na 333. mjestu, iza turskog Nemrut Baya i kenijske Mombase.
Mjesto među 100 najefikasnijih pronašli su Philadelphia, na 83. mjestu, Porto of Viriginia na 85., New York i New Jersey na 89., te Charlstone na 95. mjestu, primjećuje Reuters.
Pandemija covida-19 poremetila je trgovinu diljem svijeta, zakočivši protok robe i razotkrivši slabosti u lancima opskrbe koji su organizirani na principu pomnog tempiranja zaliha kako bi se uštedjelo na skladištenju.
SAD je najveći potrošač u svijetu i godišnje uvozi robu približne vrijednosti 2.500 milijardi dolara. Američki predsjednik Joe Biden sada traži ogroman novac za modernizaciju oronule infrastrukture, uključujući morske luke.
Efikasnost brojnih luka izvan SAD-a počiva na državnoj potpori, non-stop poslovanju i automatizaciji, napominje Reuters.

Japanska luka Yokohama najefikasnija je u svijetu u pretovaru tereta i zrcali globalnu dominaciju azijskih luka, a među 10 najboljih svrstao se i španjolski Algeciras, pokazalo je istraživanje Svjetske banke i londonske tvrtke Markit.
Yokohama je zasjela na čelo globalne ljestvice 351 kontejnerske luke, po statističkim pokazateljima, a na drugom je mjestu saudijska luka King Abdullah, prema indeksu izvedbe kontejnerskih luka (CPPI) koji izrađuju Svjetska banka i Markit.
Treće i četvrto mjesto na ljestvici za 2020. godinu zauzeli su i kineski Chiwan, dio luke Shenzhen, i Guangzhou, a peto tajvanska luka Kaoshiung.
Na šestom je mjestu omanska luka Salalah, na sedmom Hong Kong, a na deseto se mjesto probio španjolski Algeciras, najbolje plasirana europska luka.
Među europskim lukama drugo je mjesto na ljestvici najefikasnijih pripalo danskom Aarhusu, treće njemačkom Bremerhavenu, dok se najprometnija europska luka Rotterdam našla na četvrtom mjestu. Na globaloj ljestvici zauzela je 116. mjesto.
Hrvatskoj najbliži talijanski Trst zauzeo je deseto mjesto na ljestvici najefikasnijih europskih luka, a na globalnoj je ljestvici završio na 212. mjestu.
Luke u Aziji, na Bliskom istoku i u sjevernoj Africi dominiraju među 50 vodećih u svijetu dok su luke u Los Angelesu i Long Beachu, koje obrađuju najveći obujam tereta u SAD-u, završile na dnu ljestvice.
Los Angeles zauzeo je 328. mjesto, iza tanzanijskog Dar es Salaama i također američkog Dutch Harbora, a susjedni Long Beach prošao je još gore, završivši na 333. mjestu, iza turskog Nemrut Baya i kenijske Mombase.
Mjesto među 100 najefikasnijih pronašli su Philadelphia, na 83. mjestu, Porto of Viriginia na 85., New York i New Jersey na 89., te Charlstone na 95. mjestu, primjećuje Reuters.
Pandemija covida-19 poremetila je trgovinu diljem svijeta, zakočivši protok robe i razotkrivši slabosti u lancima opskrbe koji su organizirani na principu pomnog tempiranja zaliha kako bi se uštedjelo na skladištenju.
SAD je najveći potrošač u svijetu i godišnje uvozi robu približne vrijednosti 2.500 milijardi dolara. Američki predsjednik Joe Biden sada traži ogroman novac za modernizaciju oronule infrastrukture, uključujući morske luke.
