Brojni ribari u Belemu (federalna brazilska država Para), smještenom na ulazu od Atlantskog oceana u rijeku Amazonu, danima su prosvjedovali zbog uvođenja zabrane prodaje više vrsta riba na tržnici Ver-o-Peso. Naime, u toj regiji pojavilo se više slučajeva Haff sindroma i neuroloških problema kod djece, zbog čega je provedena istraga.

Utvrđeno je kako su ilegalni rudari tijekom 2019. i 2020. na tom području koristili oko 100 tona žive kako bi odvajali zlatnu prašinu od mulja. Živa je dospjela u neke vrste ribe pa su vlasti odlučile zabraniti prodaju iako se Belem nalazi na 100 km od Atlantskog oceana.

Ribarima se to nije svidjelo jer tvrde kako će ostati bez zarade, a mnogi ljudi ostati gladni jer je riba glavna namirnica u toj regiji.

Brojni ribari u Belemu (federalna brazilska država Para), smještenom na ulazu od Atlantskog oceana u rijeku Amazonu, danima su prosvjedovali zbog uvođenja zabrane prodaje više vrsta riba na tržnici Ver-o-Peso. Naime, u toj regiji pojavilo se više slučajeva Haff sindroma i neuroloških problema kod djece, zbog čega je provedena istraga.

Utvrđeno je kako su ilegalni rudari tijekom 2019. i 2020. na tom području koristili oko 100 tona žive kako bi odvajali zlatnu prašinu od mulja. Živa je dospjela u neke vrste ribe pa su vlasti odlučile zabraniti prodaju iako se Belem nalazi na 100 km od Atlantskog oceana.

Ribarima se to nije svidjelo jer tvrde kako će ostati bez zarade, a mnogi ljudi ostati gladni jer je riba glavna namirnica u toj regiji.

Zagađenje živomTragači za zlatom otrovali ribu, kod djece se pojavilo više slučajeva Haff sindroma i neuroloških problema

Brojni ribari u Belemu (federalna brazilska država Para), smještenom na ulazu od Atlantskog oceana u rijeku Amazonu, danima su prosvjedovali zbog uvođenja zabrane prodaje više vrsta riba na tržnici Ver-o-Peso. Naime, u toj regiji pojavilo se više slučajeva Haff sindroma i neuroloških problema kod djece, zbog čega je provedena istraga.

Utvrđeno je kako su ilegalni rudari tijekom 2019. i 2020. na tom području koristili oko 100 tona žive kako bi odvajali zlatnu prašinu od mulja. Živa je dospjela u neke vrste ribe pa su vlasti odlučile zabraniti prodaju iako se Belem nalazi na 100 km od Atlantskog oceana.

Ribarima se to nije svidjelo jer tvrde kako će ostati bez zarade, a mnogi ljudi ostati gladni jer je riba glavna namirnica u toj regiji.
