Nakon punih 70 godina sredozmena medvjedica, jedan od najugroženijih sisavaca na svijetu, ponovno je viđena u moru na jugoozapadnom dijelu otoka Korčule! Prekrasnu vijest objavilo je Društvo za podvodne sportove Zagreb (DPS Zagreb).

Njihovu priču, koja je objavljena na Facebooku, prenosimo u cijelosti:

"Manja je vjerojatnost da ćete tijekom zarona sresti sredozemnu medvjedicu nego osvojiti jack pot na lotu. Upravo to se dogodilo Željanu Padovanu, vlasniku ronilačkog centra "Diving Tri porte" sa Korčule, osvojio je ronilački jack pot – oči u oči susreo se sa sredozemnom medvjedicom! Evo njegove priče:

- Bio je normalan dan i isplovili smo na zaron - priča nam Željan.

Ronili smo na strmoj stijeni punoj gorgonija (meki koralj) ispred špilje Zaklopatica te se sa dna polako dizali prema  gore. Već na zidu sam zaključio da će zaron ispasti odličan, sreli smo dvije poveće kirnje  i par velikih škarpina, uz predivne gorgonije na dnu tog zida nije bilo greške, svi iz grupe već su bili zadovoljni viđenim! Za kraj zarona ušli smo u Zaklopaticu (špilja Zaklopatica uvrštena je u 10 najboljih ronilačkih lokacija na Jadranu) kako bi napravili još jedan krug, zastali na sigurnosnom zastanku i izronili. U jednom trenutku vidio sam da je nešto zasjalo iz mraka i to mi je privuklo pažnju da gledam u tom smjeru, zna se dogoditi da u špilju uđu veliki gofovi i njih sam i očekivao – priča Željan.

U jednom trenutku samo se ukazala ispred njih: mlada, zaigrana jedinka davno nestale sredozemne medvjedice ispred ronilaca ispod površine! Zvuči nestvarno zar ne? Željan nam govori; još bi rekao da sam poludio i ko zna šta sam vidio da sam bio sam, međutim nisam bio sam i svi smo vidjeli isto: Morskog čovika. Da sam samo sanjao to što se desilo bio bi sretan, ali da se stvarno dogodilo još ne mogu vjerovati. Zastala je ispred njih da ih pogleda na trenutak i odjurila prema izlazu iz Špilje.

U tom području zadnji put viđena je prije 70 godina. Željanova baka pričala je o plaži na kojoj su je znali sresti kad bi barkom išli u ribu, plaža je idealna upravo na nju. Cijelo to područje prepuno je špilja i špiljica, rupa i malih plaža od žala – idealno stanište za sredozemnu medvjedicu.

- Alo, prijatelj mi jučer govori da je jedan ribar skoro upo u more kad ne nešto puhlo iz mora pored barke. Pripa se skroz, a nešto mu je izilo ribu iz parangala !

Nakon 70 godina prvi puta se pokazala i dala nam do znanja da je nekada ona bila glavni lovac o tom području. Nekada stalni stanovnik Jadrana danas eventualno koji slučajni susret…. Je li nam to trebalo ? Je li nam trebao toliko godina da shvatimo da smo mi glavne štetočine protiv kojih se i sami borimo, da smo mi jedina vrsta koja svojim djelovanjem može utjecati na  budućnost neke druge vrste, da postanemo svjesni da su naše vještine stvorene da štite, a ne da uništavaju. Totalno smo promašili svoju svrhu na ovom planetu. Vrlo polako se osvještavamo i da ekologija postaje popularna, ali presporo da bi vratili neke nepovratno uništene i izgubljene vrste. Nakon punih 70 godina sredozmena medvjedica, jedan od najugroženijih sisavaca na svijetu, ponovno je viđena u moru na jugoozapadnom dijelu otoka Korčule! Prekrasnu vijest objavilo je Društvo za podvodne sportove Zagreb (DPS Zagreb).

"Manja je vjerojatnost da ćete tijekom zarona sresti sredozemnu medvjedicu nego osvojiti jack pot na lotu. - Bio je normalan dan i isplovili smo na zaron - priča nam Željan.

Ronili smo na strmoj stijeni punoj gorgonija (meki koralj) ispred špilje Zaklopatica te se sa dna polako dizali prema  gore. Već na zidu sam zaključio da će zaron ispasti odličan, sreli smo dvije poveće kirnje  i par velikih škarpina, uz predivne gorgonije na dnu tog zida nije bilo greške, svi iz grupe već su bili zadovoljni viđenim! Za kraj zarona ušli smo u Zaklopaticu (špilja Zaklopatica uvrštena je u 10 najboljih ronilačkih lokacija na Jadranu) kako bi napravili još jedan krug, zastali na sigurnosnom zastanku i izronili. U jednom trenutku vidio sam da je nešto zasjalo iz mraka i to mi je privuklo pažnju da gledam u tom smjeru, zna se dogoditi da u špilju uđu veliki gofovi i njih sam i očekivao – priča Željan.

U jednom trenutku samo se ukazala ispred njih: mlada, zaigrana jedinka davno nestale sredozemne medvjedice ispred ronilaca ispod površine! Zvuči nestvarno zar ne? Željan nam govori; još bi rekao da sam poludio i ko zna šta sam vidio da sam bio sam, međutim nisam bio sam i svi smo vidjeli isto: Morskog čovika. Da sam samo sanjao to što se desilo bio bi sretan, ali da se stvarno dogodilo još ne mogu vjerovati. Zastala je ispred njih da ih pogleda na trenutak i odjurila prema izlazu iz Špilje.

U tom području zadnji put viđena je prije 70 godina. Željanova baka pričala je o plaži na kojoj su je znali sresti kad bi barkom išli u ribu, plaža je idealna upravo na nju. Cijelo to područje prepuno je špilja i špiljica, rupa i malih plaža od žala – idealno stanište za sredozemnu medvjedicu.

- Alo, prijatelj mi jučer govori da je jedan ribar skoro upo u more kad ne nešto puhlo iz mora pored barke. Pripa se skroz, a nešto mu je izilo ribu iz parangala !

Nakon 70 godina prvi puta se pokazala i dala nam do znanja da je nekada ona bila glavni lovac o tom području. Nekada stalni stanovnik Jadrana danas eventualno koji slučajni susret…. Je li nam to trebalo ? Je li nam trebao toliko godina da shvatimo da smo mi glavne štetočine protiv kojih se i sami borimo, da smo mi jedina vrsta koja svojim djelovanjem može utjecati na  budućnost neke druge vrste, da postanemo svjesni da su naše vještine stvorene da štite, a ne da uništavaju. Totalno smo promašili svoju svrhu na ovom planetu. Vrlo polako se osvještavamo i da ekologija postaje popularna, ali presporo da bi vratili neke nepovratno uništene i izgubljene vrste. Nakon punih 70 godina sredozmena medvjedica, jedan od najugroženijih sisavaca na svijetu, ponovno je viđena u moru na jugoozapadnom dijelu otoka Korčule! Prekrasnu vijest objavilo je Društvo za podvodne sportove Zagreb (DPS Zagreb).

Njihovu priču, koja je objavljena na Facebooku, prenosimo u cijelosti:

"Manja je vjerojatnost da ćete tijekom zarona sresti sredozemnu medvjedicu nego osvojiti jack pot na lotu. Upravo to se dogodilo Željanu Padovanu, vlasniku ronilačkog centra "Diving Tri porte" sa Korčule, osvojio je ronilački jack pot – oči u oči susreo se sa sredozemnom medvjedicom! Evo njegove priče:
