Prve jahte su bile potpuno drugačija vrsta broda od onih koje danas zamišljamo kada kažemo jahta.

Riječ jahta potječe od nizozemske riječi jacht što znači lov. Jachtschepen su bili laki, uski i brzi brodovi namijenjeni hvatanju i presretanju većih i sporijih trgovačkih brodova.

Jedan od takvih brodova Nizozemci su darovali britanskom kralju Charlesu Drugom i on ga je počeo koristiti kao svoj brod za uživanje.

Nakon toga se termin jahta uvriježio i do danas održao kao naziv za brodove namijenjene uživanju.

Prve jahte su bile potpuno drugačija vrsta broda od onih koje danas zamišljamo kada kažemo jahta.

Riječ jahta potječe od nizozemske riječi jacht što znači lov. Jachtschepen su bili laki, uski i brzi brodovi namijenjeni hvatanju i presretanju većih i sporijih trgovačkih brodova.

Jedan od takvih brodova Nizozemci su darovali britanskom kralju Charlesu Drugom i on ga je počeo koristiti kao svoj brod za uživanje.

Nakon toga se termin jahta uvriježio i do danas održao kao naziv za brodove namijenjene uživanju.

Prve jahte su bile potpuno drugačija vrsta broda od onih koje danas zamišljamo kada kažemo jahta.

Riječ jahta potječe od nizozemske riječi jacht što znači lov. Jachtschepen su bili laki, uski i brzi brodovi namijenjeni hvatanju i presretanju većih i sporijih trgovačkih brodova.

Jedan od takvih brodova Nizozemci su darovali britanskom kralju Charlesu Drugom i on ga je počeo koristiti kao svoj brod za uživanje.

Nakon toga se termin jahta uvriježio i do danas održao kao naziv za brodove namijenjene uživanju.
