Ana Marija Bianki radi nesvakidašnji posao i svim svojim bićem uživa u njemu. Naime, ova tridesettrogodišnjakinja iz Slanog od 2016. godine radi na kruzeru kao Environmental Officer – časnica odgovorna za zaštitu okoliša. Prije nego se zaposlila u kruzing industriji, završila je studij Biologije i ekologije mora na Institutu za oceanografiju i ribarstvo u Splitu. Razgovor s njom donosi Pomorac.hr.

Pozicija Environmental Officera nije baš svakidašnja ni među ljudima koji "tuku more", pa je Ana Marija odlučila ispričati sve detalje svog posla.

"Biti Environmental Officer na brodu znači raditi apsolutno sve. Šala naravno, no kada bih nekome ukratko pojasnila moj posao, rekla bih da je suština osiguravati sukladnost broda sa svim zakonima, konstantno, kroz različite sisteme, inspekcije, testove, treninge, vježbe i papirologiju.

Kontrola i upravljanje energijom i njenom potrošnjom, tretiranje i zbrinjavanje bilo kakvog otpada, sudjelovanje u pripremi budućih itinerara broda te planiranje okolišnih operacija unaprijed – sve su to poslovi koje ja, kao Environmental Officer, na brodu obavljam".

Kako je raditi kao Environmental Officer na "malom plovećem gradu"?

- Pa lijepo je, premda nemamo previše vremena za opuštanje, tako da sigurno ovisi iz koje perspektive se gleda. Svi misle da mi na kruzeru samo tulumarimo, a u biti tu ima jako puno posla i papirologije. Dan se svede na papirologiju i malo tu prostora ostane za zabavu, uživanje i druženje.

Svakako bih rekla da je kruzer poput malenog grada. Tu sve savršeno funkcionira. No, sve ovisi o resursima. Ljudski su daleko najbitniji. Mi kao posada uvijek moramo voditi računa jedni o drugima. Dobar tim na brodu je ključan da bi posao bio dobro obavljen i da "mali grad" može funkcionirati - veli ova djevojka.

Na upit kakav je utjecaj kruzera na okoliš, kaže kako je zagađenje mora s kruzera, posebice priobalnog, nemoguće s obzirom na suvremenu opremu koju kruzeri imaju.

- Kruzer na kojem plovim ima najbolju tehnologiju i uređaje kojima se prerađuju i tretiraju sve otpadne, kaljužne i fekalne vode. Ima uređaje kojima se čiste staklenički plinovi, uklanja ili smanjuje sumpor iz ispušnih plinova, ugljični dioksid, dušikovi oksidi, uređaje za tretiranje balastnih voda, opremu za obradu krutog otpada, spalionice, centar za sortiranje smeća gdje se sortira sve smeće te priprema za daljnji istovar.

Trenutno recikliramo oko 85 posto smeća kojeg proizvedemo, a smeće koje ne možemo separirati spaljuje se kad smo na otvorenom moru. Pazi se gdje se što iskrcava s obzirom na to kako se upravlja otpadom u određenoj luci ili zemlji u kojoj se u tom trenutku nalazimo.

Između ostalog, stalno se prati kvaliteta svih otpadnih voda kroz dnevna mjerenja određenih komponenti. Kontroliraju se bakterije i plutajuće čestice. Ponekad vidim kako se piše po medijima o kruzerima u hrvatskom dijelu Jadrana koji ispuštaju fekalije u more. Kruzeri definitivno ne onečišćuju obalno more, s obzirom na tehnologiju koju imaju, sve zakone koji se na kruzerima primjenjuju te obavezne dozvoljene obrasce ponašanja od svakog člana posade.

Na brodu se ne toleriraju nikakva ponašanja niti akcije bilo koga koje bi mogle ugroziti okoliš ili opremu koja je krucijalna da bi se otpad mogao preraditi. To se postiže pravilnom separacijom, koja se događa svugdje i uvijek, od strane svakog člana posade, i integrirana je u brodsku kulturu - objašnjava.

Naime, ova tridesettrogodišnjakinja iz Slanog od 2016. godine radi na kruzeru kao Environmental Officer – časnica odgovorna za zaštitu okoliša. Prije nego se zaposlila u kruzing industriji, završila je studij Biologije i ekologije mora na Institutu za oceanografiju i ribarstvo u Splitu. Razgovor s njom donosi Pomorac.hr.

Pozicija Environmental Officera nije baš svakidašnja ni među ljudima koji "tuku more", pa je Ana Marija odlučila ispričati sve detalje svog posla.

"Biti Environmental Officer na brodu znači raditi apsolutno sve. Šala naravno, no kada bih nekome ukratko pojasnila moj posao, rekla bih da je suština osiguravati sukladnost broda sa svim zakonima, konstantno, kroz različite sisteme, inspekcije, testove, treninge, vježbe i papirologiju.

Kontrola i upravljanje energijom i njenom potrošnjom, tretiranje i zbrinjavanje bilo kakvog otpada, sudjelovanje u pripremi budućih itinerara broda te planiranje okolišnih operacija unaprijed – sve su to poslovi koje ja, kao Environmental Officer, na brodu obavljam".

Kako je raditi kao Environmental Officer na "malom plovećem gradu"?

- Pa lijepo je, premda nemamo previše vremena za opuštanje, tako da sigurno ovisi iz koje perspektive se gleda. Svi misle da mi na kruzeru samo tulumarimo, a u biti tu ima jako puno posla i papirologije. Dan se svede na papirologiju i malo tu prostora ostane za zabavu, uživanje i druženje.

Svakako bih rekla da je kruzer poput malenog grada. Tu sve savršeno funkcionira. No, sve ovisi o resursima. Ljudski su daleko najbitniji. Mi kao posada uvijek moramo voditi računa jedni o drugima. Dobar tim na brodu je ključan da bi posao bio dobro obavljen i da "mali grad" može funkcionirati - veli ova djevojka.

Na upit kakav je utjecaj kruzera na okoliš, kaže kako je zagađenje mora s kruzera, posebice priobalnog, nemoguće s obzirom na suvremenu opremu koju kruzeri imaju.

- Kruzer na kojem plovim ima najbolju tehnologiju i uređaje kojima se prerađuju i tretiraju sve otpadne, kaljužne i fekalne vode. Ima uređaje kojima se čiste staklenički plinovi, uklanja ili smanjuje sumpor iz ispušnih plinova, ugljični dioksid, dušikovi oksidi, uređaje za tretiranje balastnih voda, opremu za obradu krutog otpada, spalionice, centar za sortiranje smeća gdje se sortira sve smeće te priprema za daljnji istovar.

Trenutno recikliramo oko 85 posto smeća kojeg proizvedemo, a smeće koje ne možemo separirati spaljuje se kad smo na otvorenom moru. Pazi se gdje se što iskrcava s obzirom na to kako se upravlja otpadom u određenoj luci ili zemlji u kojoj se u tom trenutku nalazimo.

Između ostalog, stalno se prati kvaliteta svih otpadnih voda kroz dnevna mjerenja određenih komponenti. Kontroliraju se bakterije i plutajuće čestice. Ponekad vidim kako se piše po medijima o kruzerima u hrvatskom dijelu Jadrana koji ispuštaju fekalije u more. Kruzeri definitivno ne onečišćuju obalno more, s obzirom na tehnologiju koju imaju, sve zakone koji se na kruzerima primjenjuju te obavezne dozvoljene obrasce ponašanja od svakog člana posade.

Na brodu se ne toleriraju nikakva ponašanja niti akcije bilo koga koje bi mogle ugroziti okoliš ili opremu koja je krucijalna da bi se otpad mogao preraditi. To se postiže pravilnom separacijom, koja se događa svugdje i uvijek, od strane svakog člana posade, i integrirana je u brodsku kulturu - objašnjava.
