Kinezi vole velike stvari pa je tako krajem lipnja tvrtka China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) u svojoj pučinskoj vjetroelektrani Zhangpu Liuao Phase 2 instalirala najveću vjetroturbinu na svijetu – snage 16 megavata (MW). Ima promjer rotora od 252 metra, površinu krila od oko 50.000 četvornih metara, što je ekvivalent sedam nogometnih igrališta, dok je središte turbine visoko čak 146 metara, kao zgrada od 50 katova.

Ova golema vjetroturbina sposobna je proizvesti 34,2 kWh električne energije po okretaju, odnosno 66 GWh čiste električne energije godišnje. Kada se dovrši pučinska vjetroelektrana Zhangpu Liuao Phase 2 snage 400 MW, moći će proizvoditi oko 1,6 teravatsati (TWh) električne energije godišnje. To, pak, može uštedjeti oko 500.000 tona standardnog ugljena i smanjiti emisije za oko 1,36 milijuna tona godišnje.

Kinezi vole velike stvari pa je tako krajem lipnja tvrtka China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) u svojoj pučinskoj vjetroelektrani Zhangpu Liuao Phase 2 instalirala najveću vjetroturbinu na svijetu – snage 16 megavata (MW). Ima promjer rotora od 252 metra, površinu krila od oko 50.000 četvornih metara, što je ekvivalent sedam nogometnih igrališta, dok je središte turbine visoko čak 146 metara, kao zgrada od 50 katova.

Ova golema vjetroturbina sposobna je proizvesti 34,2 kWh električne energije po okretaju, odnosno 66 GWh čiste električne energije godišnje. Kada se dovrši pučinska vjetroelektrana Zhangpu Liuao Phase 2 snage 400 MW, moći će proizvoditi oko 1,6 teravatsati (TWh) električne energije godišnje. To, pak, može uštedjeti oko 500.000 tona standardnog ugljena i smanjiti emisije za oko 1,36 milijuna tona godišnje.

Najveći vjetrogenerator na svijetu

Kinezi vole velike stvari pa je tako krajem lipnja tvrtka China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) u svojoj pučinskoj vjetroelektrani Zhangpu Liuao Phase 2 instalirala najveću vjetroturbinu na svijetu – snage 16 megavata (MW). Ima promjer rotora od 252 metra, površinu krila od oko 50.000 četvornih metara, što je ekvivalent sedam nogometnih igrališta, dok je središte turbine visoko čak 146 metara, kao zgrada od 50 katova.

Ova golema vjetroturbina sposobna je proizvesti 34,2 kWh električne energije po okretaju, odnosno 66 GWh čiste električne energije godišnje. Kada se dovrši pučinska vjetroelektrana Zhangpu Liuao Phase 2 snage 400 MW, moći će proizvoditi oko 1,6 teravatsati (TWh) električne energije godišnje. To, pak, može uštedjeti oko 500.000 tona standardnog ugljena i smanjiti emisije za oko 1,36 milijuna tona godišnje.
