Ima li tijelo ikad izgleda protiv mora? Nema ni jednostavnog ni izravnog odgovora na ovo pitanje. More ubija hladnoćom. Problem pothlađivanja ne postoji samo zimi.

Čak je i ljeti more uvijek značajno hladnije od tijela i samo je pitanje koliko vremena treba proteći u neravnopravnoj borbi, dok tijelo konačno ne klone i nemoćno se prepusti dubinama.

Tijelo će se kad-tad ohladiti na temperaturu koja će, zajedno s iscrpljenošću koja nastaje zbog stalnih pokreta ruku i nogu kojima se stradalnik održava na površini, učiniti da osoba konačno padne u nesvijest, u slatki san u kojem će zaspati zagrlivši more zauvijek.

Slojevi odjeće

Za osobu koja nema prsluk za spašavanje, pasti na površini u nesvijest znači potonuti, a potonuti znači utopiti se! Zbog toga su prsluci sredstva koja spašavaju život! Ako na barčici plovite s djecom, stavite im prsluk uvijek i u svakoj prilici! Zlo nikad ne spava!

Bez prsluka, sve je tek neravnopravna borba, u kojoj će izglede za spas tek malo povećati više slojeva odjeće, dobra opća tjelesna sprema, psihološka stabilnost, povoljnije okolnosti stradavanja i plutanja, bilo kakav predmet na kojeg se brodolomac može osloniti, stanje mora i snaga vjetra te moguće oborine.

Valovi, vjetar i kiša na moru smrtni su neprijatelji brodolomca, ali i nesmotrenog surfera, stradalog jedriličara, putnika koji je pao s broda, plivača kojeg je odnijela struja...

Hrvatski fenomeni

Sjeća li se još itko Tise? Nikad do kraja razjašnjeni brodolom uzeo je živote 17 pomoraca u oluji kod otoka Krete, 13. listopada 1965. godine. Jedini preživjeli, kormilar Ante Milin, proveo je tada 44 sata u moru temperature od oko 17 stupnjeva Celzija!

Prema medicinskoj literaturi, on je mogao izdržati najviše 40 sati prije nego što je trebala nastupiti smrt. Već tada je Milin proglašen svojevrsnim medicinskim fenomenom i njegov je slučaj bio temeljito istraživan.

Još jedan hrvatski fenomen s početka kolovoza 2003., mladi Viliam Šlothauer je tada, pod okolnostima koje nisu do kraja nikada razjašnjene, proboravio 26 sati u relativno toplom moru od nekih 26-27 stupnjeva Celzija, što je negdje oko ili iznad gornje granice preživljavanja.

Navodno pri tome nije imao nikakav prsluk za spašavanje niti bilo kakav predmet koji bi mu pomogao održati se na površini. Čini se da je i Šlothauer pao u more s broda Marko Polo, riječke Jadrolinije, ali je pri padu ostao srećom neozlijeđen i preživio. Tada su poznavatelji mora govorili da ga je čuvala i Božja ruka!

Gubitak topline

Povijest pomorstva, a tako i povijest hrvatskog pomorstva, nije prebogata pričama o brodolomima sa sretnim završetkom. Sretne priče se pamte na drugačiji način od tužnih, publiciraju se, prepričavaju, njihovi sudionici postaju junaci, a prenošenjem narastaju u svojoj neponovljivosti.

No, prosječna je istina puno crnija, ružnija i tužnija. Mnoge nikada nisu pronašli, mnogi nisu nikada imali ni sahranu koju su toliko željeli očajni roditelji, uništeni tugom i čekanjem.

Drhtanje mišića u moru je zaštita protiv pothlađivanja, ali ima učinak mača s dvije oštrice zbog nezaustavljivog gubitka topline proizvedene od predragocjenih tjelesnih energetskih zaliha.

Ako je unesrećena osoba pod djelovanjem alkohola, izgledi za spašavanje će biti još slabiji.

Alkohol smanjuje sposobnost racionalnog prosuđivanja i olakšava gubitak topline širenjem krvnih žila i potičući mokrenje. Mokraća je topla, a svaki mililitar mokraće može predstavljati gubitak topline koja može značiti granicu između života i smrti.

Zaboravite čaj s rumom

Ako spasite pothlađenu osobu iz mora, izvijestite nadležne službe što je žurnije moguće i postupajte dalje po naputku stručnjaka.

Osušite unesrećenog, utoplite ga i pozorno ga promatrajte. Budite u vezi sa spasiocima koji će uskoro krenuti ili su krenuli prema vama. Zivkanje i požurivanje neće pomoći da spasioci stignu brže.

Ima li tijelo ikad izgleda protiv mora? Nema ni jednostavnog ni izravnog odgovora na ovo pitanje. More ubija hladnoćom. Problem pothlađivanja ne postoji samo zimi.

Čak je i ljeti more uvijek značajno hladnije od tijela i samo je pitanje koliko vremena treba proteći u neravnopravnoj borbi, dok tijelo konačno ne klone i nemoćno se prepusti dubinama.

Tijelo će se kad-tad ohladiti na temperaturu koja će, zajedno s iscrpljenošću koja nastaje zbog stalnih pokreta ruku i nogu kojima se stradalnik održava na površini, učiniti da osoba konačno padne u nesvijest, u slatki san u kojem će zaspati zagrlivši more zauvijek.

Slojevi odjeće

Za osobu koja nema prsluk za spašavanje, pasti na površini u nesvijest znači potonuti, a potonuti znači utopiti se! Zbog toga su prsluci sredstva koja spašavaju život! Ako na barčici plovite s djecom, stavite im prsluk uvijek i u svakoj prilici! Zlo nikad ne spava!

Bez prsluka, sve je tek neravnopravna borba, u kojoj će izglede za spas tek malo povećati više slojeva odjeće, dobra opća tjelesna sprema, psihološka stabilnost, povoljnije okolnosti stradavanja i plutanja, bilo kakav predmet na kojeg se brodolomac može osloniti, stanje mora i snaga vjetra te moguće oborine.

Valovi, vjetar i kiša na moru smrtni su neprijatelji brodolomca, ali i nesmotrenog surfera, stradalog jedriličara, putnika koji je pao s broda, plivača kojeg je odnijela struja...

Hrvatski fenomeni

Sjeća li se još itko Tise? Nikad do kraja razjašnjeni brodolom uzeo je živote 17 pomoraca u oluji kod otoka Krete, 13. listopada 1965. godine. Jedini preživjeli, kormilar Ante Milin, proveo je tada 44 sata u moru temperature od oko 17 stupnjeva Celzija!

Prema medicinskoj literaturi, on je mogao izdržati najviše 40 sati prije nego što je trebala nastupiti smrt. Već tada je Milin proglašen svojevrsnim medicinskim fenomenom i njegov je slučaj bio temeljito istraživan.

Još jedan hrvatski fenomen s početka kolovoza 2003., mladi Viliam Šlothauer je tada, pod okolnostima koje nisu do kraja nikada razjašnjene, proboravio 26 sati u relativno toplom moru od nekih 26-27 stupnjeva Celzija, što je negdje oko ili iznad gornje granice preživljavanja.

Navodno pri tome nije imao nikakav prsluk za spašavanje niti bilo kakav predmet koji bi mu pomogao održati se na površini. Čini se da je i Šlothauer pao u more s broda Marko Polo, riječke Jadrolinije, ali je pri padu ostao srećom neozlijeđen i preživio. Tada su poznavatelji mora govorili da ga je čuvala i Božja ruka!

Gubitak topline

Povijest pomorstva, a tako i povijest hrvatskog pomorstva, nije prebogata pričama o brodolomima sa sretnim završetkom. Sretne priče se pamte na drugačiji način od tužnih, publiciraju se, prepričavaju, njihovi sudionici postaju junaci, a prenošenjem narastaju u svojoj neponovljivosti.

No, prosječna je istina puno crnija, ružnija i tužnija. Mnoge nikada nisu pronašli, mnogi nisu nikada imali ni sahranu koju su toliko željeli očajni roditelji, uništeni tugom i čekanjem.

Drhtanje mišića u moru je zaštita protiv pothlađivanja, ali ima učinak mača s dvije oštrice zbog nezaustavljivog gubitka topline proizvedene od predragocjenih tjelesnih energetskih zaliha.

Ako je unesrećena osoba pod djelovanjem alkohola, izgledi za spašavanje će biti još slabiji.

Alkohol smanjuje sposobnost racionalnog prosuđivanja i olakšava gubitak topline širenjem krvnih žila i potičući mokrenje. Mokraća je topla, a svaki mililitar mokraće može predstavljati gubitak topline koja može značiti granicu između života i smrti.

Zaboravite čaj s rumom

Ako spasite pothlađenu osobu iz mora, izvijestite nadležne službe što je žurnije moguće i postupajte dalje po naputku stručnjaka.

Osušite unesrećenog, utoplite ga i pozorno ga promatrajte. Budite u vezi sa spasiocima koji će uskoro krenuti ili su krenuli prema vama. Zivkanje i požurivanje neće pomoći da spasioci stignu brže.
