U kineskom gradu Harbinu u ožujku je otvoren hotel Polar Land, koji je specifičan po tome što njegovi gosti kroz staklo sobe mogu 24 sata na dan gledati zatočene polarne medvjede.

To je izazvalo proteste brojnih ekoloških aktivista i udruga, koje upozoravaju na to da polarnim medvjedima nije mjesto u hotelu, posebno zbog toga što su ugrožena vrsta.

– Te životinje trebaju biti na Arktiku, a nikako u staklenim kavezima ili akvarijima budući da im je radijus kretanja na slobodi više tisuća kilometara – kazao je potpredsjednik udruge Peta Asia Jason Baker.

Vlasnici hotela misle da je sustanarstvo s polarnim medvjedima odličan mamac za goste, iako u Kini ima i onih koji su javno kazali da panoramski zatvor nije prikladno mjesto za njih.

U kineskom gradu Harbinu u ožujku je otvoren hotel Polar Land, koji je specifičan po tome što njegovi gosti kroz staklo sobe mogu 24 sata na dan gledati zatočene polarne medvjede.

To je izazvalo proteste brojnih ekoloških aktivista i udruga, koje upozoravaju na to da polarnim medvjedima nije mjesto u hotelu, posebno zbog toga što su ugrožena vrsta.

– Te životinje trebaju biti na Arktiku, a nikako u staklenim kavezima ili akvarijima budući da im je radijus kretanja na slobodi više tisuća kilometara – kazao je potpredsjednik udruge Peta Asia Jason Baker.

Vlasnici hotela misle da je sustanarstvo s polarnim medvjedima odličan mamac za goste, iako u Kini ima i onih koji su javno kazali da panoramski zatvor nije prikladno mjesto za njih.

U kineskom gradu Harbinu u ožujku je otvoren hotel Polar Land, koji je specifičan po tome što njegovi gosti kroz staklo sobe mogu 24 sata na dan gledati zatočene polarne medvjede.

To je izazvalo proteste brojnih ekoloških aktivista i udruga, koje upozoravaju na to da polarnim medvjedima nije mjesto u hotelu, posebno zbog toga što su ugrožena vrsta.

– Te životinje trebaju biti na Arktiku, a nikako u staklenim kavezima ili akvarijima budući da im je radijus kretanja na slobodi više tisuća kilometara – kazao je potpredsjednik udruge Peta Asia Jason Baker.

Vlasnici hotela misle da je sustanarstvo s polarnim medvjedima odličan mamac za goste, iako u Kini ima i onih koji su javno kazali da panoramski zatvor nije prikladno mjesto za njih.
