Borimo se s koronavirusom. No s epidemijama se bori i morski svijet. Parazitska infekcija već godinama uništava našu najveću školjku - perisku. Loše vijesti govore o pomoru cijele populacije. Srećom, ima i dobrih vijesti, a stižu s Brijuna, javlja HRT.

- U uvali Javorika postavljeni su kolektori, njih 15, na dubini od 2, 4, 6, 8 i 10 metara u vertikalama, s običnim vrećama krumpira, i na njih su se uhvatile periske - objašnjava Martina Hervat, biolog NP-a Brijuni.

- Točnije, bebe periske. Male ljušturice veličine 1 cm, stručnjaci su vrlo pažljivo izdvojili i stavili u inkubator i odnijeli na stručnu njegu u akvarij.

- Tu su naše bebe periske, mi ih zovemo Brijunke. Smjestili smo ih u bazen gdje je temperatura vode zimska, u hladnoću. Koristili smo sediment mulj iz uvale NP-a Brijuni kako bi njima bilo čim sličnije prirodnim uvjetima. Za njih je sediment jako bitan jer se mogu pričvrstiti svojim nitima za stabilizaciju u pijesak - kaže Marija Aleksandra Bel Dajković, voditeljica stručnog odjela Aquariuma Pula.

Pretpostavlja se da su ličinke zapravo Talijanke jer je parazit do talijanskih voda stigao tek nedavno. Možda ih je donijela morska struja. No još su toliko male da se jedva vide. Rastu sporo, oko centimetar godišnje. Zato je najvažnije da ih se dobro hrani, minimalno četiri puta na dan. Hrane ih pipetama modrozelenom tekućinom, radi se o mješavini raznih vrsta fitoplanktona.

- Nalazi se u sobi za uzgoj fitoplanktona. To je primarna živa hrana za početne stadije svih živih organizama pogotovo ličinki malih periski - pokazuje Matea Stankić, biolog Aquariuma Pula.

O tome koliko je važno sačuvati perisku, govori i podatak da je u ovaj projekt njihovog opstanka uključen cijeli niz znanstvenika i institucija, iz cijele Hrvatske, javlja HRT.

Borimo se s koronavirusom. No s epidemijama se bori i morski svijet. Parazitska infekcija već godinama uništava našu najveću školjku - perisku. Loše vijesti govore o pomoru cijele populacije. Srećom, ima i dobrih vijesti, a stižu s Brijuna, javlja HRT.

- U uvali Javorika postavljeni su kolektori, njih 15, na dubini od 2, 4, 6, 8 i 10 metara u vertikalama, s običnim vrećama krumpira, i na njih su se uhvatile periske - objašnjava Martina Hervat, biolog NP-a Brijuni.

- Točnije, bebe periske. Male ljušturice veličine 1 cm, stručnjaci su vrlo pažljivo izdvojili i stavili u inkubator i odnijeli na stručnu njegu u akvarij.

- Tu su naše bebe periske, mi ih zovemo Brijunke. Smjestili smo ih u bazen gdje je temperatura vode zimska, u hladnoću. Koristili smo sediment mulj iz uvale NP-a Brijuni kako bi njima bilo čim sličnije prirodnim uvjetima. Za njih je sediment jako bitan jer se mogu pričvrstiti svojim nitima za stabilizaciju u pijesak - kaže Marija Aleksandra Bel Dajković, voditeljica stručnog odjela Aquariuma Pula.

Pretpostavlja se da su ličinke zapravo Talijanke jer je parazit do talijanskih voda stigao tek nedavno. Možda ih je donijela morska struja. No još su toliko male da se jedva vide. Rastu sporo, oko centimetar godišnje. Zato je najvažnije da ih se dobro hrani, minimalno četiri puta na dan. Hrane ih pipetama modrozelenom tekućinom, radi se o mješavini raznih vrsta fitoplanktona.

- Nalazi se u sobi za uzgoj fitoplanktona. To je primarna živa hrana za početne stadije svih živih organizama pogotovo ličinki malih periski - pokazuje Matea Stankić, biolog Aquariuma Pula.

O tome koliko je važno sačuvati perisku, govori i podatak da je u ovaj projekt njihovog opstanka uključen cijeli niz znanstvenika i institucija, iz cijele Hrvatske, javlja HRT.

Borimo se s koronavirusom. No s epidemijama se bori i morski svijet. Parazitska infekcija već godinama uništava našu najveću školjku - perisku. Loše vijesti govore o pomoru cijele populacije. Srećom, ima i dobrih vijesti, a stižu s Brijuna, javlja HRT.

- U uvali Javorika postavljeni su kolektori, njih 15, na dubini od 2, 4, 6, 8 i 10 metara u vertikalama, s običnim vrećama krumpira, i na njih su se uhvatile periske - objašnjava Martina Hervat, biolog NP-a Brijuni.

- Točnije, bebe periske. Male ljušturice veličine 1 cm, stručnjaci su vrlo pažljivo izdvojili i stavili u inkubator i odnijeli na stručnu njegu u akvarij.

- Tu su naše bebe periske, mi ih zovemo Brijunke. Smjestili smo ih u bazen gdje je temperatura vode zimska, u hladnoću. Koristili smo sediment mulj iz uvale NP-a Brijuni kako bi njima bilo čim sličnije prirodnim uvjetima. Za njih je sediment jako bitan jer se mogu pričvrstiti svojim nitima za stabilizaciju u pijesak - kaže Marija Aleksandra Bel Dajković, voditeljica stručnog odjela Aquariuma Pula.

Pretpostavlja se da su ličinke zapravo Talijanke jer je parazit do talijanskih voda stigao tek nedavno. Možda ih je donijela morska struja. No još su toliko male da se jedva vide. Rastu sporo, oko centimetar godišnje. Zato je najvažnije da ih se dobro hrani, minimalno četiri puta na dan. Hrane ih pipetama modrozelenom tekućinom, radi se o mješavini raznih vrsta fitoplanktona.

- Nalazi se u sobi za uzgoj fitoplanktona. To je primarna živa hrana za početne stadije svih živih organizama pogotovo ličinki malih periski - pokazuje Matea Stankić, biolog Aquariuma Pula.

O tome koliko je važno sačuvati perisku, govori i podatak da je u ovaj projekt njihovog opstanka uključen cijeli niz znanstvenika i institucija, iz cijele Hrvatske, javlja HRT.
