- Što bi ovo bilo? Opisao bih kao niz povezanih prozirnih vrećica s bijelom točkom, kreću se sporo uz površinu lagano nošeni kurentom. Sinoć sam u dva navrata vidio to u moru, radi se o Umaškom području - objavio je Nikola Špoljar u grupi Živi svijet Jadranskog mora na Facebooku, tražeći pomoć u identifikaciji neobičnih stvorenja koja je površinom mora nosila morska struja, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Nije morao dugo čekati na odgovor. Stručnjak Pero Ugarković sa splitskog Instituta za oceanografiju i ribarstvo, rekao je kako je prilično uvjeren da se radi o Salpi maxima. S obzirom na to da je riječ o fotografiji, ponekad je teško točno ustanoviti o kojem se morskom stanovniku točno radi.

Salpa maxima je neobičan stvor. U našem se jeziku naziva velikom salpom. Kako piše Institut Plavi svijet, to je vrsta planktonskih tunikata koja se hrani fitoplanktonom. Kreće se kontrakcijama tijela kojima istišće vodu iz organizma. Najčešće se opažaju međusobno povezane u koloniju, a ponekad i kao samostalne jedinke. U Jadranskom moru je 2013. zabilježena kolonija koja je bila dugačka oko sedam metara.

- Što bi ovo bilo? Opisao bih kao niz povezanih prozirnih vrećica s bijelom točkom, kreću se sporo uz površinu lagano nošeni kurentom. Sinoć sam u dva navrata vidio to u moru, radi se o Umaškom području - objavio je Nikola Špoljar u grupi Živi svijet Jadranskog mora na Facebooku, tražeći pomoć u identifikaciji neobičnih stvorenja koja je površinom mora nosila morska struja, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Nije morao dugo čekati na odgovor. Stručnjak Pero Ugarković sa splitskog Instituta za oceanografiju i ribarstvo, rekao je kako je prilično uvjeren da se radi o Salpi maxima. S obzirom na to da je riječ o fotografiji, ponekad je teško točno ustanoviti o kojem se morskom stanovniku točno radi.

Salpa maxima je neobičan stvor. U našem se jeziku naziva velikom salpom. Kako piše Institut Plavi svijet, to je vrsta planktonskih tunikata koja se hrani fitoplanktonom. Kreće se kontrakcijama tijela kojima istišće vodu iz organizma. Najčešće se opažaju međusobno povezane u koloniju, a ponekad i kao samostalne jedinke. U Jadranskom moru je 2013. zabilježena kolonija koja je bila dugačka oko sedam metara.

- Što bi ovo bilo? Opisao bih kao niz povezanih prozirnih vrećica s bijelom točkom, kreću se sporo uz površinu lagano nošeni kurentom. Sinoć sam u dva navrata vidio to u moru, radi se o Umaškom području - objavio je Nikola Špoljar u grupi Živi svijet Jadranskog mora na Facebooku, tražeći pomoć u identifikaciji neobičnih stvorenja koja je površinom mora nosila morska struja, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Nije morao dugo čekati na odgovor. Stručnjak Pero Ugarković sa splitskog Instituta za oceanografiju i ribarstvo, rekao je kako je prilično uvjeren da se radi o Salpi maxima. S obzirom na to da je riječ o fotografiji, ponekad je teško točno ustanoviti o kojem se morskom stanovniku točno radi.

Salpa maxima je neobičan stvor. U našem se jeziku naziva velikom salpom. Kako piše Institut Plavi svijet, to je vrsta planktonskih tunikata koja se hrani fitoplanktonom. Kreće se kontrakcijama tijela kojima istišće vodu iz organizma. Najčešće se opažaju međusobno povezane u koloniju, a ponekad i kao samostalne jedinke. U Jadranskom moru je 2013. zabilježena kolonija koja je bila dugačka oko sedam metara.
