Bay Ruf Manic je varalica koju potpisuje japanski brend DUO i koja svakako zaslužuje posebno mjesto u kutiji svakog ozbiljnijeg spinnera. Riječ je o jednoj od najtraženijih varalica kod koje je u svim segmentima postignut optimum, od oblika i volumena preko dometa i vođenja, pa do kačenja ribe. Upravo zbog toga postoje i brojne kopije, koje unatoč silnom trudu nisu uspjele do kraja dosegnuti performanse originala. Namijenjena je ponajprije lovu površinskih predatora, poput brancina, strijelki, ušata, ali i luceva, palamida, trupaca i drugih pučinskih grabljivica ako su umjerenih dimenzija. Ponajprije zbog konstrukcije varalice, koja bi, unatoč svojim kvalitetama, teško podnijela udarce ribe teže od 30 kilograma.

Mali projektil

Varalica Bay Ruf Manic jednostavne je građe, ima riboliko izduženo i vrlo tanko tijelo s istaknutim okom na glavi. Zadnja udica nije postavljena na samom repu, kao što je to uobičajeno kod većine varalica, nego malo prije, čime je ostvaren bitno dalji domet u zabačaju, a što je od velike važnosti u pretraživanju lovne zone. Varalica se zbog toga ponaša kao mali aerodinamičan projektil, poput pikado strelice. Zatezanjem strune, odiže se prema površini u manje-više nepromijenjenom, nagnutom položaju čiji se kut mijenja ovisno o brzini povlačenja.

Bay Ruf Manic može se povlačiti pod površinom, ali i u vodenom filmu. Premda se može povlačiti i walk the dog tehnikom, ova je varalica ipak najlovnija u pravolinijskom povlačenju. Naime, zbog toga što nema spojler, u povlačenju izostaje karakteristična sinusna akcija. U povlačenju manično pulsirajući valja, odnosno djelomično se zakreće oko vlastite osi, čime se postiže provokativna vibracija kojoj spomenuti predatori, čak i u potpuno mirnim uvjetima i na pozicijama koje su pod velikim ribolovnim pritiskom, teško odolijevaju.

Tu je akciju na tvrđim štapovima teško registrirati, tako da manje iskusni varaličari mogu pomisliti da povlače inertnu i nelovnu varalicu. No, dovoljno je pogledati njezin karakterističan V trag na površini da bi se uočila ta jedinstvena akcija brazdanja površine koja je prisutna i pri najsporijem pretraživanju terena. Za vrijeme povlačenja štap treba držati vrhom visoko gore, tako da struna ne leži na površini mora, čime se postiže najdirektniji kontakt s varalicom.

Bez obzira na to što je varalica nakon zabačaja potonula, čim se struna zategne, nad površinom će se pojaviti glava, a varalica će do trenutka izvlačenja na suho cijelo vrijeme izgledati kao dezorijentirani ili ranjeni mali cipal koji, odvojen od jata, umire od straha da ne bude pojeden.

Nova dimenzija

Naravno, ako se u pravolinijsko povlačenje ubaci koji jerk ili twich pokret, što je zapravo nužna animacija ribolovca, varalica će dobiti novu dimenziju koja će svim gladnim ustima u blizini biti dodatna provokacija. Upravo u tom segmentu do punog izražaja može doći varaličarska kreativnost po kojoj se spinneri međusobno razlikuju.

Boja ima više nego dovoljno

Za razliku od zara, koje za pravilno vođenje traže relativno mirno more, Bay Ruf Manicom može se uspješno loviti i po valovitom moru, bilo s obale ili iz barke.

Modeli dužine 75 i 95 mm pokazali su se nešto lovnijima po mirnome moru u zaklonjenim uvalama, dok su se modeli dugi 115 i 135 mm pokazali vrlo lovnima upravo po nemirnome moru. Model od 88 mm idealan je za daleke izbačaje zbog odnosa dužine i težine, te je kao takav pogodan i za pretraživanja plitkih područja. Svi su modeli opremljeni dvjema udicama, osim najdužega koji je naoružan s tri trokuke udice. U ponudi je osam različitih boja koje pokrivaju sve moguće situacije, od potpuno bistrog do krajnje zamućenog mora.

Bay Ruf Manic je varalica koju potpisuje japanski brend DUO i koja svakako zaslužuje posebno mjesto u kutiji svakog ozbiljnijeg spinnera. Riječ je o jednoj od najtraženijih varalica kod koje je u svim segmentima postignut optimum, od oblika i volumena preko dometa i vođenja, pa do kačenja ribe. Upravo zbog toga postoje i brojne kopije, koje unatoč silnom trudu nisu uspjele do kraja dosegnuti performanse originala. Namijenjena je ponajprije lovu površinskih predatora, poput brancina, strijelki, ušata, ali i luceva, palamida, trupaca i drugih pučinskih grabljivica ako su umjerenih dimenzija. Ponajprije zbog konstrukcije varalice, koja bi, unatoč svojim kvalitetama, teško podnijela udarce ribe teže od 30 kilograma.

Mali projektil

Varalica Bay Ruf Manic jednostavne je građe, ima riboliko izduženo i vrlo tanko tijelo s istaknutim okom na glavi. Zadnja udica nije postavljena na samom repu, kao što je to uobičajeno kod većine varalica, nego malo prije, čime je ostvaren bitno dalji domet u zabačaju, a što je od velike važnosti u pretraživanju lovne zone. Varalica se zbog toga ponaša kao mali aerodinamičan projektil, poput pikado strelice. Zatezanjem strune, odiže se prema površini u manje-više nepromijenjenom, nagnutom položaju čiji se kut mijenja ovisno o brzini povlačenja.

Bay Ruf Manic može se povlačiti pod površinom, ali i u vodenom filmu. Premda se može povlačiti i walk the dog tehnikom, ova je varalica ipak najlovnija u pravolinijskom povlačenju. Naime, zbog toga što nema spojler, u povlačenju izostaje karakteristična sinusna akcija. U povlačenju manično pulsirajući valja, odnosno djelomično se zakreće oko vlastite osi, čime se postiže provokativna vibracija kojoj spomenuti predatori, čak i u potpuno mirnim uvjetima i na pozicijama koje su pod velikim ribolovnim pritiskom, teško odolijevaju.

Tu je akciju na tvrđim štapovima teško registrirati, tako da manje iskusni varaličari mogu pomisliti da povlače inertnu i nelovnu varalicu. No, dovoljno je pogledati njezin karakterističan V trag na površini da bi se uočila ta jedinstvena akcija brazdanja površine koja je prisutna i pri najsporijem pretraživanju terena. Za vrijeme povlačenja štap treba držati vrhom visoko gore, tako da struna ne leži na površini mora, čime se postiže najdirektniji kontakt s varalicom.

Bez obzira na to što je varalica nakon zabačaja potonula, čim se struna zategne, nad površinom će se pojaviti glava, a varalica će do trenutka izvlačenja na suho cijelo vrijeme izgledati kao dezorijentirani ili ranjeni mali cipal koji, odvojen od jata, umire od straha da ne bude pojeden.

Nova dimenzija

Naravno, ako se u pravolinijsko povlačenje ubaci koji jerk ili twich pokret, što je zapravo nužna animacija ribolovca, varalica će dobiti novu dimenziju koja će svim gladnim ustima u blizini biti dodatna provokacija. Upravo u tom segmentu do punog izražaja može doći varaličarska kreativnost po kojoj se spinneri međusobno razlikuju.

Za razliku od zara, koje za pravilno vođenje traže relativno mirno more, Bay Ruf Manicom može se uspješno loviti i po valovitom moru, bilo s obale ili iz barke.

Modeli dužine 75 i 95 mm pokazali su se nešto lovnijima po mirnome moru u zaklonjenim uvalama, dok su se modeli dugi 115 i 135 mm pokazali vrlo lovnima upravo po nemirnome moru. Model od 88 mm idealan je za daleke izbačaje zbog odnosa dužine i težine, te je kao takav pogodan i za pretraživanja plitkih područja. Svi su modeli opremljeni dvjema udicama, osim najdužega koji je naoružan s tri trokuke udice. U ponudi je osam različitih boja koje pokrivaju sve moguće situacije, od potpuno bistrog do krajnje zamućenog mora.
