U koći sam našao dvije čudne male ribice, pa bih molio za pomoć u njihovoj identifikaciji?

Poslali ste mi fotografije dvije zanimljive ribe, a posebice sam sretan što su moje preporuke izgleda urodile plodom jer su fotografije riba upravo onakve kakve bi trebale biti za jednostavniju identifikaciju. Dakle, riba koja ima izbočenu njuškicu, kao kakav kljun, se upravo tako i zove, odnosno službeni naziv joj je kljunčica, a još je znaju zvati i kljunica te oštrokljun, dok joj je latinski naziv Capros aper. Ova riba pripada koštunjavim ribama iz obitelji kljunki (Caproidae). Tijelo je ovalno, visoko, bočno spljošteno, a karakteristična gubica je izdužena i šiljasta, usta malena, dok su oči velike. Ima bočnu prugu, ali je slabo uočljiva. Boja je crvenkasta, različitog intenziteta, s leđne strane tamnija. Mužjaci se razlikuju od ženki po tome što su tamnije isprugani.

Voli dubine

Ovaj vaš primjerak manji je od 10 centimetara dužine i takve se najčešće vidi, ali kljunčica može narasti i do cijelih 30 cm. Inače se može naći u cijelom istočnom Atlantiku od Norveške do Senegala, uključujući Sredozemlje. Zalazi do 700 metara dubine i uglavnom nije pliće od 40 metara. Najčešće se kreće u jatima po kamenitim i koraljnim dnima, ali i po pjeskovitom području. Hrani se rakovima, crvima i mekušcima.

Kljunčica ili Capros aper

Druga vrsta koju ste mi poslali još je zanimljivija, jer sam je i sam vrlo rijetko imao priliku vidjeti. Radi se o ribi hrvatskog naziva zvjezdook, a latinskog Hoplostethus mediterraneus. Razlog njenoj rijetkosti je područje obitavanja, odnosno nalazi se na dubinama od 100 do 1175 metara, ali uglavnom dublje od 400 metara. Ima vrlo karakterističan izgled glave koja je sprijeda zaobljena, koščata, s mnogo grebena i udubina te ponekom bodljom, a ime je zaslužila prema zvjezdolikom koštanom prstenu koji uokviruje velike oči. Uglavnom je ružičastosive boje koja katkad prelazi u ljubičastu. Kratko nakon vađenja iz mora mogu se po leđima primijetiti i smeđe točkice.

Kozmopolitska vrsta

Vaš primjerak je dug oko 15-ak centimetara i takvi primjerci do 20-ak cm dužine su najčešći, ali inače može narasti i do 42 cm dužine. Iako je kozmopolitska vrsta koja se može naći u Indijskom i Tihom oceanu, kao i u Mediteranu, zbog dubine na kojoj živi ne zna se previše o njenom ponašanju, pa neki autori smatraju da je to pelagična vrsta koja se drži dubljih slojeva mora, dok neki smatraju da je prava demerzalna vrsta koja boravi na muljevitim dnima. S obzirom da je vaša ulovljena pridnenom koćom, izgleda da su ovi potonji možda bolje pogodili njezino područje.

U koći sam našao dvije čudne male ribice, pa bih molio za pomoć u njihovoj identifikaciji?

Poslali ste mi fotografije dvije zanimljive ribe, a posebice sam sretan što su moje preporuke izgleda urodile plodom jer su fotografije riba upravo onakve kakve bi trebale biti za jednostavniju identifikaciju. Dakle, riba koja ima izbočenu njuškicu, kao kakav kljun, se upravo tako i zove, odnosno službeni naziv joj je kljunčica, a još je znaju zvati i kljunica te oštrokljun, dok joj je latinski naziv Capros aper. Ova riba pripada koštunjavim ribama iz obitelji kljunki (Caproidae). Tijelo je ovalno, visoko, bočno spljošteno, a karakteristična gubica je izdužena i šiljasta, usta malena, dok su oči velike. Ima bočnu prugu, ali je slabo uočljiva. Boja je crvenkasta, različitog intenziteta, s leđne strane tamnija. Mužjaci se razlikuju od ženki po tome što su tamnije isprugani.

Voli dubine

Ovaj vaš primjerak manji je od 10 centimetara dužine i takve se najčešće vidi, ali kljunčica može narasti i do cijelih 30 cm. Inače se može naći u cijelom istočnom Atlantiku od Norveške do Senegala, uključujući Sredozemlje. Zalazi do 700 metara dubine i uglavnom nije pliće od 40 metara. Najčešće se kreće u jatima po kamenitim i koraljnim dnima, ali i po pjeskovitom području. Hrani se rakovima, crvima i mekušcima.

Druga vrsta koju ste mi poslali još je zanimljivija, jer sam je i sam vrlo rijetko imao priliku vidjeti. Radi se o ribi hrvatskog naziva zvjezdook, a latinskog Hoplostethus mediterraneus. Razlog njenoj rijetkosti je područje obitavanja, odnosno nalazi se na dubinama od 100 do 1175 metara, ali uglavnom dublje od 400 metara. Ima vrlo karakterističan izgled glave koja je sprijeda zaobljena, koščata, s mnogo grebena i udubina te ponekom bodljom, a ime je zaslužila prema zvjezdolikom koštanom prstenu koji uokviruje velike oči. Uglavnom je ružičastosive boje koja katkad prelazi u ljubičastu. Kratko nakon vađenja iz mora mogu se po leđima primijetiti i smeđe točkice.

Kozmopolitska vrsta

Vaš primjerak je dug oko 15-ak centimetara i takvi primjerci do 20-ak cm dužine su najčešći, ali inače može narasti i do 42 cm dužine. Iako je kozmopolitska vrsta koja se može naći u Indijskom i Tihom oceanu, kao i u Mediteranu, zbog dubine na kojoj živi ne zna se previše o njenom ponašanju, pa neki autori smatraju da je to pelagična vrsta koja se drži dubljih slojeva mora, dok neki smatraju da je prava demerzalna vrsta koja boravi na muljevitim dnima. S obzirom da je vaša ulovljena pridnenom koćom, izgleda da su ovi potonji možda bolje pogodili njezino područje.
