Iz Herceg Novog nam se javio Pajo Parlov s molbom da mu pomognemo odgonetnuti što je pronašao u moru.

– U 28 godina dugom ronilačkom stažu na dnu mora nalazio sam razne predmete, među njima i brojne ribolovne alate, ali nikad nešto za što nisam znao čemu služi, poput predmeta čije vam slike šaljem. Očito je dugo bio na dnu, jer mi je trebalo 10 dana da ga očistim od debelog sloja mulja, kamenca, trave i ostalih obraslina. Nalikuje na košaricu na kojoj su s vanjske strane udice. Dug je 215 i širok 30 mm, izrađen je od pocinčane žice debljine 2 mm. I na jednom kraju ima stožasti uteg. Mnoge sam Bokelje pitao znaju li, ali nitko nije izričito rekao što je to. Košarica za ribicu

Nakon malo konzultacija, utvrdili smo da je pronađeni nepoznati predmet stari alat za lov hobotnica, kod nas poznat kao polpara, što je talijanski naziv za niz različitih alata namijenjenih lovu najkrupnijega glavonošca.

Na znanje Peri i svima koje to može zanimati. Neki su ga nazivali i košarica, jer izgleda poput nje. Koristi se za lov hobotnica pomoću ribice – mamca, smještene u košaricu.

Dimenzije izronjene stare polpare

Polako se poteže po dnu iz plovila ili s obale na dubinama do 20 metara. Kod nas je ovaj alat bio u upotrebi do šezdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća, kad su ga istisnuli industrijski izrađeni alati – ponajprije saonice.

U Italiji je još u masovnoj upotrebi, jer je učinkovit barem kao i saonica, a uz to od njih manje zapinje i lakše se oslobađa od zagrljaja dna. Lako se može i vlastoručno izraditi, ali i kupiti.

Osim oblika košare, u Italiji i još nekim dijelovima Mediterana upotrebljava se i polpara oblika kišobrana (slika br. 1).

Kod nje se mamac nabada na centralnu žicu. Naši hobotničari su za lov iz plovila koristili i varalicu konstrukcije osmišljene s ove strane Jadrana, prikazane crtežom broj 2. O njoj smo pisali još prije 30 godina u ​Vikend cocktailu, prilogu Slobodne Dalmacije.

To je također varalica s prirodnim mamcem, kojoj je osnova žica savijena pod kutom od 90 stupnjeva. Jedan krak žice opterećen je utegom, a na drugom, koji završava polukrunom od udica, postavlja se mamac. Najčešće i najbolje sitna riba, poput srdele, gavuna, šaruna...

Skos je preko alkice na pregibu žice vezan za osnovnu strunu kojom se sporo poteže po dnu. Uteg pritom, prateći konfiguraciju dna, svoje pokrete preko žice prenosi na horizontalni mamac, koji zbog toga tetura i poskakuje iritirajući grabljivice koje u zasjedi čekaju ili tragaju za plijenom.

Iz Herceg Novog nam se javio Pajo Parlov s molbom da mu pomognemo odgonetnuti što je pronašao u moru.

– U 28 godina dugom ronilačkom stažu na dnu mora nalazio sam razne predmete, među njima i brojne ribolovne alate, ali nikad nešto za što nisam znao čemu služi, poput predmeta čije vam slike šaljem. Očito je dugo bio na dnu, jer mi je trebalo 10 dana da ga očistim od debelog sloja mulja, kamenca, trave i ostalih obraslina. Nalikuje na košaricu na kojoj su s vanjske strane udice. Dug je 215 i širok 30 mm, izrađen je od pocinčane žice debljine 2 mm. I na jednom kraju ima stožasti uteg. Mnoge sam Bokelje pitao znaju li, ali nitko nije izričito rekao što je to. Znate li vi? – napisao nam je nedavno Pero.

Košarica za ribicu

Nakon malo konzultacija, utvrdili smo da je pronađeni nepoznati predmet stari alat za lov hobotnica, kod nas poznat kao polpara, što je talijanski naziv za niz različitih alata namijenjenih lovu najkrupnijega glavonošca.

Na znanje Peri i svima koje to može zanimati. Neki su ga nazivali i košarica, jer izgleda poput nje. Koristi se za lov hobotnica pomoću ribice – mamca, smještene u košaricu.

Polako se poteže po dnu iz plovila ili s obale na dubinama do 20 metara. Kod nas je ovaj alat bio u upotrebi do šezdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća, kad su ga istisnuli industrijski izrađeni alati – ponajprije saonice.

U Italiji je još u masovnoj upotrebi, jer je učinkovit barem kao i saonica, a uz to od njih manje zapinje i lakše se oslobađa od zagrljaja dna. Lako se može i vlastoručno izraditi, ali i kupiti.

Osim oblika košare, u Italiji i još nekim dijelovima Mediterana upotrebljava se i polpara oblika kišobrana (slika br. 1).

Kod nje se mamac nabada na centralnu žicu. Naši hobotničari su za lov iz plovila koristili i varalicu konstrukcije osmišljene s ove strane Jadrana, prikazane crtežom broj 2. O njoj smo pisali još prije 30 godina u ​Vikend cocktailu, prilogu Slobodne Dalmacije.

Naša verzija

To je također varalica s prirodnim mamcem, kojoj je osnova žica savijena pod kutom od 90 stupnjeva. Jedan krak žice opterećen je utegom, a na drugom, koji završava polukrunom od udica, postavlja se mamac. Najčešće i najbolje sitna riba, poput srdele, gavuna, šaruna...

Skos je preko alkice na pregibu žice vezan za osnovnu strunu kojom se sporo poteže po dnu. Uteg pritom, prateći konfiguraciju dna, svoje pokrete preko žice prenosi na horizontalni mamac, koji zbog toga tetura i poskakuje iritirajući grabljivice koje u zasjedi čekaju ili tragaju za plijenom.
