Poštovani, nedavno sam od poznanika čuo da je neki njegov znanac zamalo nastradao jer mu je u plovidbi po valovitom moru pukla prednja sarča jarbola, koji je pao unatrag i promašio mu glavu za samo dvadesetak centimetara.

Kako imam mali krstaš od 8,5 metara, star dvadesetak godina, zabrinuo sam se zbog mogućih takvih scenarija.

Zato vas molim nekoliko savjeta o održavanju jarbola, sarči i ostalih njegovih elemenata, kao i o pravilnom trimanju, kako bi on bio maksimalno siguran.

Prema vašem pitanju mogu zaključiti da je znancu vašeg poznanika jarbol pao dok je plovio s motorom, bez jedara. Istina, to djeluje malo neuvjerljivo, ali sve činjenice upućuju upravo na to.

U jedrenju jarbol pada sa strane ili prema naprijed, a površina jedara usporava poput padobrana i ublažava taj pad. Nadalje, teško mi je povjerovati da mu je pramčana sarča baš pukla, jer bez razapetih jedara opterećenja na sarčama i nisu tako velika. Prije će biti da mu se prednji štraj otkačio s hvatišta na pramcu.

Naime, pernjevi kojima se pripone spajaju za hvatišta na trupu imaju osigurač, obično metalni prsten ili rascjepku, šplentu. Zbog nekog razloga, najčešće zapinjanjem konopa, voj u prstenu može se deformirati i relativno lako ispadne s pernja.

Pravilno postavljena rascjepka neće se deformirati, ali susretao sam i neke koje su nakon nekoliko savijanja postale krhke i na mjestu presavijanja bi pukle.

Osjetljivi peranj

Prema tome, njemu je osigurač spao s pernja, a plovidbom po valovitom moru i učestalim zatezanjem i popuštanjem pramčanog štraja peranj se izvukao iz hvatišta i jarbol je pao prema krmi. Dakle, dobro je povremeno provjeriti stanje osigurača na pernjevima, i ako su vam imalo sumnjivi, zamijenite ih. Jednako tako provjerite i osigurače na štirantima, zatezačima pripona.

Kako bi se izbjeglo zapinjanje konopa za vrhove osigurača, često ih se omota ljepljivom trakom.

Za detaljan pregled jarbola najbolje ga je spustiti i postaviti ga na potpornje, tako da vam je svaki dio lako pristupačan. Prvo pogledate ima li ikakvih tragova korozije ili izobličenja. Opasna su područja oko pete jarbola i njegov vrh, hvatišta vanga, spoj s lantinom, križevi i njihovi spojevi s jarbolom, te ostali okovi, hvatišta i pojačanja otvora pričvršćenih za jarbol.

Spojevi različitih metala potencijalna su mjesta nastanka korozije. Na starijim jedrilicama sajle su bile pocinčane i prvi znakovi korozije nagovještavali su njihovu dotrajalost. Danas su gotovo sve sajle od nehrđajućeg čelika i njihov radni vijek je teže uočiti. Bilo kakvo iskrivljenje ili izobličenje pojedine žice pouzdan je znak da sajlu treba mijenjati.

Životni vijek

Na jedrilicama kojima roler genoe ne radi ispravno, na vrhu pramčanog štraja sajla se zna odvijati i izvlačiti iz štancanog terminala. Zanemarivanje ove pojave dosta je rizično, a prilikom izmjene štraja potrebno je pronaći i razlog nepravilnog rada rolera. Bilo kakva naznaka pukotine na pojedinoj žici sajle ili terminala upozorenje je da tu sajlu treba zamijeniti.

Prema nekoj stručnoj literaturi, za pouzdani životni vijek sajli na cruising jedrilicama smatra se deset godina, a za regatne jedrilice do četiri godine. Istina, ovo se odnosi na područja oko Engleske, a praksa je pokazala da je kod nas vijek trajanja sajli ipak nešto duži. Kod pregleda T-terminala potrebno ga je izvući iz jarbola i provjeriti ima li ikakvog izobličenja.

Svako odvijanje i ispravljanje terminala je izobličenje koje treba gledati sa sumnjom. Na sajlama koje su iznad radanče štancane s bakrenim prstenom (Talurit terminal) potrebno je provjeriti viri li kraj sajle iz prstena, a ako se uvukao, obavezno je treba mijenjati. Terminali Norseman ukazuju na potencijalni problem obično na mjestu gdje sajla ulazi u okov.

Poštovani, nedavno sam od poznanika čuo da je neki njegov znanac zamalo nastradao jer mu je u plovidbi po valovitom moru pukla prednja sarča jarbola, koji je pao unatrag i promašio mu glavu za samo dvadesetak centimetara.

Kako imam mali krstaš od 8,5 metara, star dvadesetak godina, zabrinuo sam se zbog mogućih takvih scenarija.

Prema vašem pitanju mogu zaključiti da je znancu vašeg poznanika jarbol pao dok je plovio s motorom, bez jedara. Istina, to djeluje malo neuvjerljivo, ali sve činjenice upućuju upravo na to.

U jedrenju jarbol pada sa strane ili prema naprijed, a površina jedara usporava poput padobrana i ublažava taj pad. Nadalje, teško mi je povjerovati da mu je pramčana sarča baš pukla, jer bez razapetih jedara opterećenja na sarčama i nisu tako velika. Prije će biti da mu se prednji štraj otkačio s hvatišta na pramcu.

Naime, pernjevi kojima se pripone spajaju za hvatišta na trupu imaju osigurač, obično metalni prsten ili rascjepku, šplentu. Zbog nekog razloga, najčešće zapinjanjem konopa, voj u prstenu može se deformirati i relativno lako ispadne s pernja.

Pravilno postavljena rascjepka neće se deformirati, ali susretao sam i neke koje su nakon nekoliko savijanja postale krhke i na mjestu presavijanja bi pukle.

Osjetljivi peranj

Prema tome, njemu je osigurač spao s pernja, a plovidbom po valovitom moru i učestalim zatezanjem i popuštanjem pramčanog štraja peranj se izvukao iz hvatišta i jarbol je pao prema krmi. Dakle, dobro je povremeno provjeriti stanje osigurača na pernjevima, i ako su vam imalo sumnjivi, zamijenite ih. Jednako tako provjerite i osigurače na štirantima, zatezačima pripona.

Kako bi se izbjeglo zapinjanje konopa za vrhove osigurača, često ih se omota ljepljivom trakom.

Za detaljan pregled jarbola najbolje ga je spustiti i postaviti ga na potpornje, tako da vam je svaki dio lako pristupačan. Prvo pogledate ima li ikakvih tragova korozije ili izobličenja. Opasna su područja oko pete jarbola i njegov vrh, hvatišta vanga, spoj s lantinom, križevi i njihovi spojevi s jarbolom, te ostali okovi, hvatišta i pojačanja otvora pričvršćenih za jarbol.

Spojevi različitih metala potencijalna su mjesta nastanka korozije. Na starijim jedrilicama sajle su bile pocinčane i prvi znakovi korozije nagovještavali su njihovu dotrajalost. Danas su gotovo sve sajle od nehrđajućeg čelika i njihov radni vijek je teže uočiti. Bilo kakvo iskrivljenje ili izobličenje pojedine žice pouzdan je znak da sajlu treba mijenjati.

Životni vijek

Na jedrilicama kojima roler genoe ne radi ispravno, na vrhu pramčanog štraja sajla se zna odvijati i izvlačiti iz štancanog terminala. Zanemarivanje ove pojave dosta je rizično, a prilikom izmjene štraja potrebno je pronaći i razlog nepravilnog rada rolera. Bilo kakva naznaka pukotine na pojedinoj žici sajle ili terminala upozorenje je da tu sajlu treba zamijeniti.

Prema nekoj stručnoj literaturi, za pouzdani životni vijek sajli na cruising jedrilicama smatra se deset godina, a za regatne jedrilice do četiri godine. Istina, ovo se odnosi na područja oko Engleske, a praksa je pokazala da je kod nas vijek trajanja sajli ipak nešto duži. Kod pregleda T-terminala potrebno ga je izvući iz jarbola i provjeriti ima li ikakvog izobličenja.

Svako odvijanje i ispravljanje terminala je izobličenje koje treba gledati sa sumnjom. Na sajlama koje su iznad radanče štancane s bakrenim prstenom (Talurit terminal) potrebno je provjeriti viri li kraj sajle iz prstena, a ako se uvukao, obavezno je treba mijenjati. Terminali Norseman ukazuju na potencijalni problem obično na mjestu gdje sajla ulazi u okov.

Poštovani, nedavno sam od poznanika čuo da je neki njegov znanac zamalo nastradao jer mu je u plovidbi po valovitom moru pukla prednja sarča jarbola, koji je pao unatrag i promašio mu glavu za samo dvadesetak centimetara.

Kako imam mali krstaš od 8,5 metara, star dvadesetak godina, zabrinuo sam se zbog mogućih takvih scenarija.

Zato vas molim nekoliko savjeta o održavanju jarbola, sarči i ostalih njegovih elemenata, kao i o pravilnom trimanju, kako bi on bio maksimalno siguran.
