Na nedavnom Sajmu nautike vidio sam sustave za zaštitu trupa broda od obrastanja, na bazi folije koja se lijepi umjesto nanošenja intonka i, navodno, štiti brod dugo vremena. Kako je riječ o dosta skupom i ne baš jednostavnom postupku, iako me vrlo zaintrigirao, dvojim hoću li ga primijeniti na svome brodu Šibenik 800. Stoga vas molim za stručno mišljenje o svojstvima i kvaliteti takve zaštite?

Premazi za zaštitu od obrastanja podvodnog dijela trupa mogu se podijeliti u tri grupe, konvencionalne biocidne, samopolirajuće (SPC – Self Polishing Copolymer), te premaze na bazi otpuštanja obraslina (FRC – Foul Release Coating). Klasični biocidni, često nazivani i tvrdi, te SPC, radi samopoliranja prozvani meki intonci, sadrže biocide i tako kemijskim putem sprječavaju ili znatno smanjuju hvatanje živih organizama za dno. Što je biocida više i što su aktivniji, to je učinak efikasniji, međutim, štetni su za okoliš. Za razliku od njih, FRC premazi morskim organizmima stvaraju fizičku barijeru.

Najčešće su na bazi silikona, stvarajući tako glatku vodonepropusnu površinu s malim koeficijentom trenja za koju se organizmi ne mogu ili se teško hvataju. Ako se i uhvate, taj kontakt je toliko slab da u plovidbi uglavnom sami otpadnu, a ako se negdje i zadrže dovoljno ih je prebrisati mekom krpom ili spužvom.

Trake i fuge

Na sajmu u Zagrebu predstavljen je program Macglide, samoljepive folije s FRC zaštitom od obrastanja podvodnog dijela trupa plovila. Za sada se proizvode u samo dvije boje, crvenoj i crnoj, a osim od obrastanja odlična su i antiosmozna zaštita podvodnog dijela trupa. S iskustvom od desetak godina proizvođač za ovaj proizvod daje bezuvjetnu garanciju od pet godina. Naravno, ako je foliju postavila ovlaštena osoba. Za razliku od intonka, folija se tijekom vremena ne troši. Folija je testirana na brzinama od 48 čvorova i nisu evidentirane nikakve anomalije. Ovaj je program kod nas postavljen na nekim vojnim i policijskim plovilima i pokazao se dosta djelotvoran. U usporedbi s istim plovilom, brodovi s folijom ranije zaglisiraju, a opterećenja motora pri maksimalnoj brzini daleko su manja, čak i kada su oba plovila potpuno čista.

Međutim, postavljanje ove folije znatno je skuplje od standardnog bojanja podvodnog dijela. S montažom košta o 133 eura (oko 1000 kuna po kvadratu). Lijepi se isključivo na samonivelirajući epoxy prajmer, u komadima širine 61 cm, a kako nije rastezljiva na pregibima se prekida. Između dva komada ostavlja se fuga širine nekoliko milimetara i taj razmak popuni za to predviđenim prajmerom i dvokomponentnom bojom. Na isti način saniraju se i eventualne ogrebotine.

Brisanje spužvom

Folijom se može obložiti sve osim osovine i propelera, a ako se želi izbjeći vađenje plovila na kopno, njihovo čišćenje i zamjena cink protektora obavlja se ronjenjem. Nečistoće i eventualna obrastanja na dijelu folije koji nije uronjen u more, banjašugi, jednostavno se povremeno obrišu spužvom.

Osim ekološke komponente, te efikasne zaštite od osmoze i manjeg broja izvlačenja plovila na kopno, u prilog povoljnosti ugradnje ove folije svakako treba ubrojiti i smanjenu potrošnju goriva, a taj je faktor posebno izražen kod kalkulacije za plovila koja se više koriste, naročito u profesionalne i komercijalne svrhe. Osim toga, od početka ove godine proizvođači intonka moraju koristiti upola manje biocida, što pretpostavlja da bi on mogao biti i upola manje učinkovit.

Na nedavnom Sajmu nautike vidio sam sustave za zaštitu trupa broda od obrastanja, na bazi folije koja se lijepi umjesto nanošenja intonka i, navodno, štiti brod dugo vremena. Kako je riječ o dosta skupom i ne baš jednostavnom postupku, iako me vrlo zaintrigirao, dvojim hoću li ga primijeniti na svome brodu Šibenik 800. Stoga vas molim za stručno mišljenje o svojstvima i kvaliteti takve zaštite?

Premazi za zaštitu od obrastanja podvodnog dijela trupa mogu se podijeliti u tri grupe, konvencionalne biocidne, samopolirajuće (SPC – Self Polishing Copolymer), te premaze na bazi otpuštanja obraslina (FRC – Foul Release Coating). Klasični biocidni, često nazivani i tvrdi, te SPC, radi samopoliranja prozvani meki intonci, sadrže biocide i tako kemijskim putem sprječavaju ili znatno smanjuju hvatanje živih organizama za dno. Što je biocida više i što su aktivniji, to je učinak efikasniji, međutim, štetni su za okoliš. Za razliku od njih, FRC premazi morskim organizmima stvaraju fizičku barijeru.

Najčešće su na bazi silikona, stvarajući tako glatku vodonepropusnu površinu s malim koeficijentom trenja za koju se organizmi ne mogu ili se teško hvataju. Ako se i uhvate, taj kontakt je toliko slab da u plovidbi uglavnom sami otpadnu, a ako se negdje i zadrže dovoljno ih je prebrisati mekom krpom ili spužvom.

Trake i fuge

Na sajmu u Zagrebu predstavljen je program Macglide, samoljepive folije s FRC zaštitom od obrastanja podvodnog dijela trupa plovila. Za sada se proizvode u samo dvije boje, crvenoj i crnoj, a osim od obrastanja odlična su i antiosmozna zaštita podvodnog dijela trupa. S iskustvom od desetak godina proizvođač za ovaj proizvod daje bezuvjetnu garanciju od pet godina. Naravno, ako je foliju postavila ovlaštena osoba. Za razliku od intonka, folija se tijekom vremena ne troši. Folija je testirana na brzinama od 48 čvorova i nisu evidentirane nikakve anomalije. Ovaj je program kod nas postavljen na nekim vojnim i policijskim plovilima i pokazao se dosta djelotvoran. U usporedbi s istim plovilom, brodovi s folijom ranije zaglisiraju, a opterećenja motora pri maksimalnoj brzini daleko su manja, čak i kada su oba plovila potpuno čista.

Međutim, postavljanje ove folije znatno je skuplje od standardnog bojanja podvodnog dijela. S montažom košta o 133 eura (oko 1000 kuna po kvadratu). Lijepi se isključivo na samonivelirajući epoxy prajmer, u komadima širine 61 cm, a kako nije rastezljiva na pregibima se prekida. Između dva komada ostavlja se fuga širine nekoliko milimetara i taj razmak popuni za to predviđenim prajmerom i dvokomponentnom bojom. Na isti način saniraju se i eventualne ogrebotine.

Brisanje spužvom

Folijom se može obložiti sve osim osovine i propelera, a ako se želi izbjeći vađenje plovila na kopno, njihovo čišćenje i zamjena cink protektora obavlja se ronjenjem. Nečistoće i eventualna obrastanja na dijelu folije koji nije uronjen u more, banjašugi, jednostavno se povremeno obrišu spužvom.

Osim ekološke komponente, te efikasne zaštite od osmoze i manjeg broja izvlačenja plovila na kopno, u prilog povoljnosti ugradnje ove folije svakako treba ubrojiti i smanjenu potrošnju goriva, a taj je faktor posebno izražen kod kalkulacije za plovila koja se više koriste, naročito u profesionalne i komercijalne svrhe. Osim toga, od početka ove godine proizvođači intonka moraju koristiti upola manje biocida, što pretpostavlja da bi on mogao biti i upola manje učinkovit.
